The staff were friendly and the food came out super FAST, which was awesome because we still had a ton of driving to do to make it to our hotel in time. The prices were reasonable. The stay was very enjoyable and there's parking for your car which we were very grateful for. There's breakfast included and it was delicious. The dining room was cute and the windows were large, creating a nice atmosphere. They also serve tea/coffee and treats in their waiting room for free as well. Overall, a really great experience. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Dublin, but the dart is only 2 mins down the street and very easy to take into town.

What I love is the fact that the starters generally push the boat out a little on flavour so it really gives you the opportunity to try something but still has the soup and melon for the plainer eaters. Ordinarily, I don't mind moving my own bags, but the block-long-plus path to the building where our room could be found was all gravel. Try dragging roller bags on gravel that distance. Not fun. The dining room at 7:30 on a Thursday night was pretty empty and the servers annoyed at having the actually serve anyone. When we asked for vegetarian options that were promised, the server was very unhelpful, and somewhat hostile. The room while beautiful was also not up to modern standards. Not readily accessible plugs or USBs by the bed. A toilet that did not flush well. A shower that did not drain well, and almost started a small flood. A bathroom fan that was very loud and grating. I did like the heated floor in the bathroom, and luxurious towels, but this place is just not a practical or fun place to stay. That have zero dedication to guest service and hospitality. At no point did I feel like a valued or cared for guest. Sad.

It was a four poster bed ( which I was very excited about, looked great in the pictures, but soon the excitement turned into a disappointment) and it creaked A LOT and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Was very hard to get a good nights sleep! Breakfast on the morning was excellent! All in all a pleasant enough experience, but the beds need some care!
