An amazing and beautiful city! We mostly spent time around the Munch Museum area and the train station for a day. There was a shopping center in the other direction we checked out too on our way to The Salmon, one of the most amazing Salmon experiences I've ever had! 7/1/2024 - a good size mall in Oslo, Norway. It is very close to the Oslo Central Station. There are four floors. The lower level has most all the food. There is also 2 mini grocery stores located at the bottom floor. The cost to use the WC, restroom is 20 Norwegian KRNS. The Lego store on the 3rd floor has the biggest mural I've ever seen with the countries I've visited, including where it was created Denmark. It is about 12 feet tall and 20 feet wide. See photos. Ok, yeah, so I went to a mall while visiting another country. I had to check it out, not because I really wanted anything, but really, just to take a look around. This place is massive! Ten stories, but I don't believe all ten store shops. I believe it's a mixed building with some businesses above it as well, but I couldn't figure it out for sure. There are a variety of different shops here, but I found many of them to be not far from the mall, outside at many of the open-air shopping areas, so that was a negative- I would rather be outside, unless the weather isn't optimal. Tourists- Do not come here expecting to use the bathroom for free. It will cost you 20 Kroner, that being said, it's not really monitored and I may or may not have just walked in without paying- sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, right? Nothing happened to me, and I'm sure you'll be fine too, but just be ready. If you for some reason need a Starbucks, there is one here. I grabbed some coffee mugs here from their collection and noticed it was a very slow location so maybe get a local roaster instead? It's kind of pretty inside, if a mall can be pretty. I'd come here if the weather wasn't great, which it wasn't the day I walked inside. Definitely better sights to see here in Oslo, but if you're looking to escape the rain and clouds for a few hours, this will be an okay spot for you. read more

Oslo City is one of Oslo's largest shopping centers with a turnover of 1.778 billion in 2008 . The mall is located at Oslo and Oslo Plaza on the Vaterland . Oslo City owned by DnB Property is 79,791 square foot. Oslo City was named the best Nordic Mall 2010 and this year's shopping center in Norway in 2009. It was built in 1988 and was the largest single building before Telenor building at Fornebu was built. On the other side of the street of Oslo City is Byporten who is also a shopping mall. These two shopping centers are connected by a walkway that goes on to Oslo Plaza . Hours of Oslo City: Weekdays: 10-22 Saturday: 10-20 It maybe the largest shopping center, but it is overcrowded and congested. I was upset that I had to pay close to $3.00 to use the bathroom. The only good thing that day was finding a great deal in shoes. Drained and bad experience. I would rather shop elsewhere. read more

Not the prettiest of the malls I have seen. But it's the most central, next to the central train station and it has most of the shops I need when I go shopping. So it's the best choice to do stuff fast. I usually visit after work as it is on my way home. It's also good for winter in order not to be walking in the cold. Very practical. There are some shops I miss though and that's mango, Zara and few others that would make it perfect. One negative side is that there are no free toilets and you need to have coins to get in. The toilets are all the way in the basement and in the back. Also it's full of people all the time so patience is needed. read more

One if my favorite shopping malls in Norway. It has everything I need and the H&M store is fabulous. I plan going back in May during National Day, always a great day in Oslo and the families. read more

Very impressive shopping center located within walking distance of the metro (and more importantly, our hotel). Very crowded though even on a weekday. Lots of stores to browse. Some were much pricier than you found walking in the downtown outside section. I wasn't impressed with their food selection. We walked around a few times and browsed but didn't purchase anything. read more
