The place has a…read morelively Mediterranean-style ambiance that's casual but inviting, perfect for a quick meal or a relaxed bite with friends. I went for their Shawarma Supreme with rice. It came with grilled chicken, veggies, hummus, tahini, BBQ sauce, and pomegranate molasses. The flavors worked really well together, the chicken was moist and juicy, the sauces added layers of richness, and the veggies kept it fresh. Portion sizes are big enough to leave you full, with the small priced at $9.49 and the large at $15.29, which makes it a good deal. The staff was efficient and friendly, and my order was ready without much wait. It's always nice when service matches the food, and here both delivered. For anyone who enjoys hearty Shawarma plates with bold flavors, this is worth the visit. I'll be back to explore more of their menu.

However, there was much left to be desired and I'm saying this even though I was hungry. It is a watered down inauthentic wrap if I ever ate one. Watered down, meaning it literally tastes like water. If you like lettuce, this is the place to go. You can also taste the cucumber water. The chicken was dry, not plentiful and I did not see the chicken cooking outside, so not sure how they make it. There's no hummus or garlic flavour. If you like salad inside a wrap, with water taste, this is it. It wasn't as savoury as I would have wanted it to be. Plenty of parking and has a washroom, which is good. Food though has much left to be desired

The person working was helpful in answering all my questions about which options were vegan. My BF got a bowl with chicken shawarma and all the toppings- he devoured it! Beware, the bowls are HUGE and you will definitely be full after eating them. I ordered the falafel wrap with all the veggies and just hummus (since the other options had dairy in them). We also ordered a side of fries. They were a little salty but we loved the spice on them. Both of our meals were outstanding. Our last day in town we didn't know where to eat so I suggested coming back again. We had another delicious meal cooked to order! I tried the dolmas that time and they were good, but not my favourite. Would definitely stop in again if we're ever in town.

Lots of condiments to add if you want. Friend who has never had Middle Eastern food tried the shawarma plate but added too much sauce. She didn't like the pita but liked the pita chips so when she asked what the chips were made from I told her from the bread she didn't like. [grin] The price was exceptionally reasonable, and I think this is a good find in Stratford, where things can get really pricey.

I recommended upgrading to the Barbari bread We also started with the Shiraz salad - this was the only thing we ordered today that was ordinary The Koobideh Kebob and the Dahl Addas were delightful Please note that that we had loads of rice because both the Kebob and the Addas came with sumptuous quantities Overall a very nice experience It's been a few years since I came here last and I'm sure my next trip will not take as long

We peeked inside. It was busy and with quite a few Persians. We decided to try it. I am so glad that we tried it. Everything that we ordered was outstanding. We got the Rayhoon trio sampler, Addas Palo, and lamb shank. The trio sampler was basically 3 different dippings and came with a basket of bread. The owner was very nice. While we were enjoying the food, he walked up and greeted. He explained how we could use the trio sampler to enjoy the entrees which really made it even better. Following the suggestion, I put a little bit of lamb sauce over the rice and put a little bit of yogurt sauce over a small piece of lamb, then ate them all in one spoon.... It was amazing!

The restaurant is really cute with amazing artwork and decor to admire. THE FOOD: Lentil soup: - The lentil soup was amazing. It was bursting with flavour and one of the best lentil soups I have had in a long time. It was both gluten and dairy free. Falafel - The falafel was the best falafel I have ever had! It was crispy and served with hummus. I really like how the falafels were heart shaped. The presentation was really nice and I would come back to enjoy these. Chicken Platter: My fiancé ordered the chicken platter and he really enjoyed it. The platter comes with salad and hummus. He found the chicken super tender and the salad was delicious. Both of us had hummus and found it robbed mediocre. Halava: - The halava was super sweet and made with pistachio. It tasted delicious and it was the perfect way to end our meal. Would We Return? Absolutely!

Upon entering Tomah I was immediately greeted by the young gentleman behind the counter. I was free to sit where I pleased. He immediately brought water and a cup of tea complimentary. The tea was amazing, full of flavor and sweet. I only ordered Syrian Shwarma and requested an additional drizzle of pomergranate syrup and an order of Muttabal and asked if that was enough and should I order more. The waiter, insisted I try the kibbeh and would bring me one. The food came out promptly, first the muttabal which I can say might be better than when my Syrian mother in law makes it! The Shwarma came out and that was amazing, it was juicy and the spices and dressings where perfect. To my surprise the waiter brought out the lentil soup, kibbeh and falafel to try. The were delectable to say the least. The ambiance during the lunchtime was quiet, however after some time Arabic music was put on, and wasn't too loud, but just right as background noise to enjoy while you eat. The cushions were a Syrian style of sitting with arm rests almost like pillows. I will be back, and I will recommend anyone to come here and get a "Taste of Syria"!
