Once we were seated, we were greeted by a friendly waiter named Adam. While the menu was all in German, Adam very patiently explained all of the different dishes on the menu to us. We decided on ordering the champagne fondue and herb fondue, which both serve two people. The food came pretty quickly and was served with bread and potatoes. We ordered the two fondue pots for four people, but in hindsight, it was more than enough. Both fondues were very good; however, I prefer the champagne option as it was slightly less salty. I would still recommend both these options and thought the fondue was excellent. The texture and consistency was very smooth and did not feel too heavy. Overall, I had a great experience here. The one note that I will make about the place is that it was a little on the pricier side, but that is to be expected. I would definitely recommend stopping by this restaurant of you are in Thun for the day.

Still, the server was quite proud of his trick of adding some brandy to top off the pasta. That probably helped but couldn't rescue the pasta. The pizza was better, as it came fresh off the oven. At least, we lucked out as the neighboring table was presented with two blackened lumps of dough that obviously had to be sent back. In a pinch, this will do, just don't expect quality Italian food despite the proximity.
