Went on the night before Thanksgiving 2025. The food was awful. The salad had almost none of the extra items promised like olives. Just lettuce and dressing. The fish stew smelled like the ingredients had outlived their usefulness. Smelled spoiled. Could not say anything as had guests. WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more

The Italian restaurant I've been searching for in Orange County. Beautiful, simple cooking in a cozy and welcoming space. Swordfish carpaccio with arugula, orange, and fennel was outstanding, as well as the house-made tagliatelle. Chef Nicola came out from the kitchen several times to make sure we were taken care of, then comped us tiramisu when he overheard it was my birthday. Our party of four really enjoyed our meals. We had three separate pasta dishes and one fish dish. We all tasted each other's meal and all of us would order it again. This is without a doubt the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten in my life. For obvious reasons, I now understand the food is not US it's all shipped and quality.. the owner Nicola is a fantastic chef in addition to his crew obviously straight from Italy. The ambience is nice just to hear the language spoken and the chef gives you his personal attention on pairing wines and food. The gelato ice cream is a 10 for a reason. I never been a fan of Gelato ice cream but now I understand it's the ingredients and I guarantee you're not gonna find gelato like this either in any other location. The only thing I can tell you in closing that this place is fantastic and when it comes to Italian food, you've never had a real Italian food unless you've been here. The lasagna was yummy and his pork cheek pasta dish was equally delicious. We asked our food server for advice on the wine which paired perfectly with the meal. We came here for an early dinnner on a Friday. It is more brightly lit than most restaurants of its type but I was ok with that. I had La Tric and Trac pasta (rigatoni w/ sausage and mushrooms), Sonji had La Zuppa di Pesce, their version of Cioppino. She loved her dish and I liked mine. The sauce and the mushrooms were very good. Service was fine. My wife liked her glass of red wine. We'll definitely be back soon. read more

I'm so sad to say our experience here was not good. Shrimps were rubbery and uncleaned (pulled a strand of shrimp poop from my mouth) and the Ciopino lacked flavor. Mussels were an odd color and the fried calamari came out all stuck together as if it was frozen beforehand. We ordered the Focaccia, La Mista salad, spaghetti w/clams and whole Sea Bream. All of the ingredients were high quality and expertly prepared. The meal reminded us of our trip to Rome.
