Either way at least in fall the room doesn't feel stuffy at all. Even the bathroom is well ventilated (can take a long shower and the mirror doesn't fog up). Staff is very nice as well. Bed is comfortable enough, nice pillows and duvet. Just really really good value. If you're going to Robert Johnson for a party it's a perfect location. About a 4 minute walk. Door to door. If you're going to the center in Frankfurt there is a bus stop right outside the hotel.

From the outside, the building is fairly unimpressive, with a small drop-off area (just as other reviews mention), so expectations were modest. But once you step inside, the experience really turns around. The reception staff were excellent: friendly, professional, and speaking great English (even though I speak German fluently, it's still a plus). I was allowed a very early check-in and a late check-out thanks to my Marriott status, which made a big difference after travel. They also provided a generous 20% dining discount coupon that could be used throughout my entire stay. The hotel is near the river, which made for a nice walk, although the immediate area is still developing, with quite a bit of construction and not much else to do nearby. That said, it feels like one of those neighborhoods that will look completely different in a few years and I'd be curious to see how it evolves. The room itself was spacious, modern, and absolutely spotless, and by that I mean it was impeccably clean. I loved the décor, the sleek bathroom, and little details like the touchless faucets. There's plenty of space to move around, and I slept very well. Overall, a great stay. I'd definitely come back and look forward to seeing how the area grows.

It's one of the design hotels, and each room is different. The lobby was very fun with white penguin lamps with pink lampshades and other kitschy touches. Our room was all pink with portraits of dogs and dog pillows and was equally kitschy and fun. The bad thing was that you're supposed to declare whether you would like smoking or non-smoking room upon checking. We arrived around 11 or 12, but weren't able to do it early check in. They put us on the books and held our luggage, which we were grateful for, but we didn't know we needed to declare and they neglected to ask. As a result, when we returned from a long day of work followed by dinner, all of the rooms had been booked except for smoking rooms. We spent the night in our pink, dog-themed room smothered by smoke. We opened the window for the 3-4 hours before we went to sleep, but it made very little impact. It was, unfortunately, an unpleasant night. I don't understand why anyone would allow smoking in a hotel room because it embeds in everything: the walls, pillows, rugs, drapes, mattresses-- everything. Other than that, it was a very cute hotel and we would stay again as long as we could obtain a non-smoking room. Also they are famous for their Rolling Stones mouse urinals. So do try to check those out in the lobby if you have a moment.

The problem was that the original check-in time was around 3pm noon and it was 5am by the time we got out of the airport. The hotel accommodated with an early check-in (many hours before) and we were able to get rest. 5 stars for service. Location is prime viewing by the river and the room even had an awesome riverfront view. Walking distance through the local park along the river shore and to the Osthafenbrucke Bridge. An unexpected gem of a find and it was awesome walking near the area. Also there is a great Biergarten at the hotel as well as one a 2 minute walk away (Paulaner Platzhirsch).
