They have a mini fridge available with waters in the waiting room and a coffee station. Once called back, the appointment felt rushed. I had imaging done and then had a 2-3 minute interaction with Dr. Max. There was no discussion of options, risks, etc. I was prescribed an antibiotic and told to schedule the next two appointments for root canal retreatment. I was a bit disoriented. I did as asked but eventually cancelled those two follow up appointments and scheduled with a different practice with more time for patient care and education.

Now that's a true CARE, isn't it? But perhaps I shouldn't marvel why Dr. Max is so exceptionally caring and instead marvel why not all dentists and doctors are this way, since doctors are supposed to care for and about their patients and put their interests first. Dr. Capezio is compassionate, open minded, honest, knowledgeable, encouraging and helps me get clear, on what is going on. She always has a plan of action, tailored to my disease activity and flexible to make necessary adjustments, when appropriate. I appreciate the consist laboratory monitoring, which helps my state of mind. I realized early on that my stressful work environment, long hours, inadequate sleep patterns and weekly travels, was not agreeing with my disease activity. Both, Dr. Capezio and her PA, Kathy have helped me reclaim my smile again. I understand my disease and got clear on with I need to do to help control my disease. Just my IV treatments, is not enough. I am also now Vegan, have lost some weight, Yoga, Pilates, routine Stretches, Acupunture, Chiropractic treatments, long walks, bicycling, rubber bands workouts and meditation. He illegally bills Medicare when I'm in to see my Physical Therapist 2 to 3 times a week, (stating he is giving me "Gait Training" and "Reassessments" which he has never done!) One of his other stunts a few years ago we came into the office to see my doctor's not him. He told my wife and I we couldn't sit in the waiting room due to COVID.
