A great service for boomers! We recently retired and were struggling with the many options for Medicare and supplemental insurance- deluged with ads. Then we found OCCOA and specifically Charlie Mays. What a godsend! He is kind and understanding and quickly explained our options, helped with a problematic provider and got us covered. Technically, it's not "new", it's rebuilt from a previous tornado devastation. But they're back and better than ever. I hope what we saw today is a sign of things to come. Plenty of different options, a new organized system and friendly people. They have more pre-packed items than other "used" shoppes and the prices are a bit higher. But every Wednesday, Seniors age 60 and older get 20% off. On Thursdays, Veterans, Active Duty Military, and their families get 20% off. Every time you donate, you get a 10% off coupon good in ALL of their thrift stores. We spent a good deal of time browsing, today. Very fortunate to find a couple silver pieces and a ton of new born outfits that will be perfect for our third grand daughter, due in April. 01/24
