I've been to other laser hair removal clinics and the speed and lack of detail was disappointing. I highly recommend DermaLuxe. If you can tolerate some laser pain, this is great. The cooling tip on the laser helps a lot, and some sensitive areas I use numbing cream, but overall, it's not a bad experience. Less painful than waxing for sure.

The spa itself isn't the easiest to get to because it's up a flight of stairs and down a hallway--there are other similar businesses in the same building so it's not sketchy or anything. The location itself is convenient though, just at the corner of MacLaren and Elgin. Once I figured out where the spa was I was impressed--it was warm and comfortable, there's a waterfall in the waiting room and calming music playing to create a nice relaxing ambiance. I saw Brittany and she was awesome. She was friendly and she made me feel comfortable and did a good job answering my questions. The room was clean, well-kept and prepared freshly before I went in. The whole experience was quick, clean, and not overly painful.

We have had pedicures, body treatments, and massages, and we have left each time feeling very pleased. The only reason we are not regulars, is the location. For us, it's on the opposite end of town, it requires a rather awkward u-turn to get into the mall, and while we are super pleased with the services, the actual spa space could use a bit of a facelift (but that's minor in the grand scheme of things).
