I paid for special delivery for the item to be returned back to store (the day after I received it) and the shop owner blatantly lied about the date it was returned, when I tracked it online myself. A very expensive item purchased so concerned about my refund, seller being very difficult about processing my refund and sending abusive emails which I have reported to trading standards. It has been 7 days since they received my item and still no refund. The shop owner has zero people skills, is rude, sarcastic and clearly has some personal problems. I am extremely shocked about the way I've been treated. Please avoid at all costs. Do not spend your money here. Update- I sent this review to google reviews also, the seller then edited the email conversation leaving out their rude and sarcastic responses and personally emailed this threatening email- The seller has just sent this email privately to me: "We have posted the emails you have written on our reply to your review, so anyone reading it can see the sort of abuse you have given to our customer care staff. I hope no one you know reads them. What will they think of you? And my reply- Thanks for the further information to be sent to trading standards. Please note, when I update them, I'll be including all of the emails, not just the ones that exclude your disgusting attitude. The lighting did not help us with wanting to purchase many of the bikinis as it was very unflattering. It doesn't make much sense for a sex/underwear shop to have poor changing rooms or lighting. One more thing I'd like to mention is the fact that the air con had been broken a few days. The poor staff were suffering in 25+ degree heat whilst running around like headless chickens for us. They person who does the buying for the Laurels is obviously into patterns, as they stock a lot of Orla Kiely stuff, Cath Kidson homeware and Marimekko clothing. Personally I find Orla Kiely patterns a bit blobby, and Cath Kidson a bit too twee, but if you like that look then this place is great. It is certainly a stark contrast to shops like Flint who go in for the 'any colour as long as it is a variation of off white' look. The stock, being branded, isn't particularly cheap (the Marimekko dresses were around £150, despite being very simple designs), but the fact that they sell lots of little bits and pieces means this would probably be a good place to look for presents for mums/kids, etc.
