Very dishonest business practice. Before my husband brought the shirts in, we called and asked about the price of regular shirts laundry. We were told $3 a shirt. When my husband picked up the shirts (2 polyester, 2 cotton, 1 linen, all labeled machine wash), he was told "they needed special treatment" (not sure what that meant as they were on hangers, not folded in boxes. They insisted my husband paid $25 for 5 shirts. The next day I went in and asked (he's probably the owner but he did not know me because I was not there before). I asked how much to "wash and pressed cotton shirts" (just to be sure he knew they're not silk or anything that needs special treatment). He said $3 a shirt. I repeated the question, again he said $3. Stay away from this place. They rob you and you have no choice but pay unless you give up your clothings and walk away. They basically hold your garments hostage. read more

Wonderful staff... I felt so welcome. The one who helped me on the phone was the same person who greeted me with a smile when I walked in the door. I brought in a sofa cushion cover. My dog vomited on it. Ugh! It came out beautifully. They only charged me $26 to clean a velvet sofa cushion cover. I thought that was a pretty good price, too! read more

We dropped off very expensive shirts and when we went to pick them up they couldn't find them. We asked if we could look for them and it was no we sort by name and it's not here. We are out over $500 for the shirts they can't find. read more

I won't be using this place anymore. They either don't know how to press a man's dress shirt properly or out of laziness, they choose not to. The collars come back flat and spread open and pressed that way so they can't be fixed. The employee working said it was due to gravity and I didn't pick them up the day they were ready?? The owner was very defensive and offered to do nothing about it. At the prices they charge to launder dress shirts, you would expect better. Other clothes came back fine. The shirts in the attached pics are buttoned at the top. We have had this issue before at this same place. We included instructions to do better on the collar when we dropped them off. Wow- these folks know what they are doing. Dropped off a sweater for 24 hr dry cleaning. In that time, they dry cleaned it twice-- focusing on an old paint stain that other cleaners had not touched. Sweater came back to me without the stain. No extra charge. Excellent. read more

When I got to their business for the first time. It wasn't a friendly experience for me at all. The woman just watched me while the man worked. The man came to talk with me while she look at me. she made me feel uncomfortable but I dismissed it. Which was a red flag on my part but I wanted to support a local business. The man answer some question I had and was a little more friendly. He never gave me pricing but gave me a ticket and told me the day to pick it up. I called because I missed the day to pick it up do to my business. When I called I had more business meetings and calls And needed my clothes. So, I wanted to pay and have someone pick it up For me. I called and he picked up the phone and I gave him the information He requested. I know I dropped off a lot of clothes so, I asked how much and he gave me a pricey number. I wanted to clarify what he said and he repeated it again. So, I said it again to confirm and he hung up on me. He maybe thought I was fighting about the price when I was trying to understand because the language barrier. I called back upset because I wanted to pay it but ended up telling forgot it. I'll pick it up myself In person. The whole experience wasn't great and for me to be a new customer. They wasn't friendly and I will not recommend them to anyone. Hopefully after this they learn how to treat people with respect. Hope they treat you better but after I get my clothes. I will not go back to this place. If you going to pay that much money for cleaners they might as will have respect or find a new business. read more

This is really more frequented by Grand Central and Historic Kenwood residents than Tyrone. Me, I live in Central Oak Park and work downtown at USF, so they're very convenient on my way to or home from work. Our Cleaners consistently pleases for all my laundry and dry cleaning. This establishment has become my only destination, and I couldn't be lured back to any of the other cleaners I used before. Seldom does full service truly mean everything's well done, but at Our Cleaners my clothes come back like new! Cannot recommend this family owned business more highly. read more
