I like the Fiestaware vendor, who's currently having a 10% off sale of the inventory of factory seconds. The imperfections are tiny, and the ware is nearly indestructible.

A live auction of multiple glass collections was occurring in a large area in the back of the store. It looked like they would be there all day until I heard the auctioneer rattling off the items. He sold 3 items in less than 5 minutes. Seventy different vendors showcase their collections. It is obvious that the store's owner has high presentation expectations. You can see each item in display cases. The store isn't cluttered or smell musty. The store doesn't accept AE and I didn't have a check. The store owner called the vendor who accepted Paypal. The vendor delivered my purchase to my hotel. I spent about an hour wandering through this store ... delightful.

Some items are labeled with descriptions, which were interesting to read. Their collection featured a lot of furniture, silver, and a lot of items pre-date the 20th century. I would say in general things are a bit pricey for Jamestown, but there are various price points and many things to buy in various price ranges. As per the name, most items have a more rustic/country/antiqued look to them. This isn't really my mom or my decorating style, but we still found items that we liked. They carry everything from curtains, lamps, wall art, pillows, quilts, decorative containers, candles, ornaments and more for home decor. There was also a large Vera Bradley section, as well as some other bags and accessories with a bit of a vintage/historical flair. She had resided here with her mother and grandparents along with her brother Fred. The area is known as Celoron and not far from that home is the Lucille Ball memorial park. Lucy used to work at that park when it was a small amusement park by the lake. The house is painted in a bright blue but what stands out is the polka dot garage door and the lopsided barbecue in the back. The barbecue was probably inspired from one of the last "I love Lucy" episodes. Note-the residence is a private dwelling and people live here. For this reason, you are asked to be respectul of the property. More information can be found on their website which also happens to be attached to the front entry door.
