Established in 2010.
Before 'Our New Garden' became Our New Garden in 2010, we were trading under the name of 'Felsteads' Garden Maintenance Service, the name told you who we were and what we did, but it wasn't very memorable,and would have been a nightmare ulr for a website!
We thought long and hard about a name change, then one day, when completing a new turfed lawn, a proud mother brought her young son outside and said " Look jack, it's Our New Garden! Perfect! a name that says exactly what we do.... no matter how big or small the job, we aim to give you that 'New Garden Feel'! everytime.
Meet the Business Owner: Paul F.
I started gardening from a young age, growing up in a village i loved being outside in the fresh air, getting dirty and generaly 'mucking around'! i lways helped family and friends in their gardens, weeding and tidying, anything i could do to top up my pocket money!
At a young age, and growing up, i'd never considered gardening as a career option, i had a few jobs and then joined the Royal Navy when i was 20. Because my friends would be at work when i was home on leave, i started gardening again, general tidying, putting up fences, insalling decking and patios etc... word of mouth spread my reputation, and i would always have 'somethg to do' when i got home. After leaving the Navy, i held several managerial positions with large national companaies and caried on with the garden maintenance. When people ask me how the business started, i usually tell then that it was a hobby that got out of hand! Whatever the weather, you just can't beat being outside!
