Bought many gold pieces in 2001. I still have them. In meantime received thousands of compliments. They weren't cheap but made to last.

This shop Is everything I look for- locally owned, handmade goods, quality products for reasonable prices. The proprietor is friendly, welcoming and helpful. I love this store! The same sweater I bought here was 7€ more at another store. I feel that her rates are fair. She sells a variety of products, from clothes to wines. This is definitely a worthwhile venture. It's close to Saint Mary's cathedral and walking distance from numerous bus or tram lines. With so many souvenir stores nearby, how does this stand out? Excellence in price, product and service. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

All of the items are well made on vintage looms. They have literally any color imaginable. If it's not in stock in store, they would have it online. All of their goods are reasonably priced given the quality and detail. Every time we went in staff were helpful in answering questions and processing VAT refund forms for duty free shopping. I'd highly recommend them for authentic textiles, and to support a local business in Lisboa.

The two people working there were not very friendly. I get you have plenty of tourists "bothering" you to look at what you have in this shop, but that's part of having a shop: People. In your space. Just looking. Until they are just buying. They officially take AmEx, but prefer you not use it. The lady was sorta rude with another customer, and the guy that helped me got all offended because I called this wacky cocktail ring "costume" jewelry, since it is sterling. Yeah, but it still isn't fine jewelry with gem stones, easy killer. You certainly may find a unique Portuguese piece here, but be prepared to deal with attitude.
