This was my 6 oz steak.....the worst steak I've had.

Tuesday steak and lobster dinner for $25...what a deal, right! The first few times my spouse and I dined at OB we absolutely loved it...the past few times, especially our last, have become possibly our last visit to OB. The quality and quantity of our meals just isn't the same. Super bummed as this was one of our favorite meals to enjoy in the area. The steak that was brought out to me was 2/10. Our server offered to switch it out but I declined.

Until about a year ago when this brand new location opened,I hadn't been to an Outback in 20 years . Tonight I just wanted to get a decent meal without cooking so Outback came to mind. The Aussie 3 course meals at bargain prices caught my eye. So,for $14.99 I choose a Bloomin Burger,House salad and cheesecake. My nod to healthy eating was the broccoli instead of fries. It was a lot of food. The burger is substantial and comes with a generous layer of bloomin onion petals. The meat is cooked to your liking with a side choice. The side salad was crisp and delicious. I took the cheesecake home and enjoyed it later in the evening. Overall I'd say my experience was good and satisfied my need to dine out with spending a fortune. The Aussie three course selections are definitely a great value. Go!

Our visit to Outback Steakhouse in Allen was a solid 2.5 stars. It was Friday, early evening. There wasn't a line to wait to be seated so we were seated rather quickly. That's when it went downhill. After about 15 minutes, we were greeted at our table by Juan. Juan wasn't our server but he noticed we hadn't been seen yet and offered to bring our drinks, bread, and find our server. Our server was Ericka B. She was a bit lackluster, so say the least. She got one order wrong, charged us more, and then offered to fix the charge once we brought it up. She never checked on our table or offered refills on drinks. She did, however, take my plate before I was done eating. So I paid for food I didn't get to finish. The food itself was phenomenal. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the broccoli and asparagus were perfectly steamed. I'd definitely go back for the food, but the service wasn't worth my time.

Love the colorful art on wall.

I always drive by and finally made it in. This Outback is pretty new. I love the modern new chic Outback is giving. It was clean and had fun murals and art. It was bright and happy. Comfy and cozy feel. Ambiance 5 STARS Dylan my server was AMAZING! He made the experience better. 5 STARS for him! Food 3 STARS Toowoomba Salmon wasn't that great. It was kind of fishy and didn't seem fresh. The broccoli was cooked perfectly. The seasoned rice was tasty. The shrimp and mushroom component was yummy. The dish didn't work well together. Tasmania Pasta presentation was nice. Flavor fell short for me. It was missing something. I also thought the pasta was hard. Reminded me of Italy how they eat it al dente. It was hard and kind of chewy. Drinks 3 STARS Blackberry Martini always good, just too many ice chips. I like a smooth martini. So have to take a few points off. Overall it was nice to see a new fresh Outback. I wanted to try these new special items. Steak gets boring sometimes.

The food is always good at Outback. I love their blooming onion and the steak was very juicy. I don't even know where to begin when it comes to service. I'll start with them running out of mango for our drinks, it taking 10-12 mins to get our sweet teas and my daughters sprite.our server did not know how to properly do her job. I saw multiple servers standing around and blocking the door way to the restaurant. Our server forgot my Mac and cheese And almost forgot my mother's bake potato. I still tipped her well but she just seemed out of it or not interested in our table. If management seees this I did not enjoy my experience overall but I want to say thank you for the very nice lady who ran all the food she was lovely and gave us silverware when our own server forgot. I will either be going to salt grass or another outback. Do not go here if you want good service.

I highly recommend that you DO NOT eat at Outback Steakhouse, 1995 N Central Expy, Allen, TX 75013. There is a consistent pattern of deceptive charges under the management and ownership of Ryan House. Several customers have reported being overcharged, and the owner fails to respond to credit card companies regarding refund requests. This kind of dishonest and irresponsible behavior is unacceptable in any business. Avoid this location -- dine somewhere that values integrity and customer service.

The staff was friendly and attentive, even with the place being busy. Only downside was the wait time, but once the food arrived it was worth it. Definitely recommend if you're craving a good steak dinner.

Walk in via J Theodore, the ohone booth is to the left. It's a cool novelty calling with a book name to enter via the book shelf. Once inside the speak easy area there were two seating options. The Library which is set away from the open lounge area and quieter or the lounge area with the bar. They would not let us pick our spot despite seating being available. We opted for the lounge area as the seat offered to us there was better to our preference. The tables are packed quiet tightly which i dont like personally but i get it. That tidbit aside it is definitely a cool environment. Service was really nice and the food we ordered was great. I presume it's the same menu as J Theodore so I'm going to have to try that now for a more restaurant style meal. This is a cool place to hang out and bring friends imo. Since we don't really drink we'll probably end up at the restaurant next time as it's not easy to eat on tiny tables. It's a bar/lounge after all.

Instead of continuing with a 5 top they put us at a 4 top and expected us to squash in. Well this was a birthday celebration and we didn't want to be uncomfortable. I asked for a chair to be put on the side of the table even if it was tight. It took me asking 3 times. Not sure what the host didn't understand the first time as he just stood at the podium doing nothing. Secondly, this is a speak easy. The door to the entrance should have been closed and opened upon phone call entry. It's what makes the presentation. It was wide open, so no point in the phone booth. Again, an issue with the host bar. Other than that, our server was a beautiful long haired/blue eye girl who was so attentive. She made some recommendations I appreciated. The food was amazing! We all shared the portobello tacos, steak frites with sweet potato truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, Asian tuna salad, and ended with the Kahlua cake. It was all fabulous. And whomever they had as entertainment on 2/21 was incredible. Great voice. Ambiance is why I've come in the past and why I'll come again. I just hope this situation with reservations won't happen again, otherwise that will be my last time. At this age we come to enjoy a place not get squashed like sardines.

Our tour was led by Jamie, who shared his extensive knowledge as he guided us through the Prohibition Era alongside our concierge, Landon. The speakeasy features stunning floors made of 120-year-old Italian wood, beautifully decorated with art, books, and a selection of premium entertainment and spirits. Patrons can request "prescriptions," which are 2oz alcoholic shots inspired by the owner's grandfather, who was a pharmacist. Cocktails and friendly service was provided by Emma and Kyle, their services were a nod to Bob Ruede, RPB's renowned Intoxicologist, along with other award-winning bartenders recognized for their excellence in service and hospitality. One server commented they hadn't worked on a Monday in years and another stated (not from a podium or anything) that it was the busiest she's seen the place in a while. The owner/manager even stopped by to thank us for coming in. The service was impeccable (I think that means good) and there were multiple people bringing things and taking things. For a party of 6, they kept up with drinks, accommodated the 1 white wine drinker amongst 5 reds, and kept up with cocktails and waters for proper dilution. Foodwise, it was terrific. We had a few appetizers to share, miscellaneous entrees and even dessert. Two diners split two entrees and they brought it out with two smaller portions of risotto and a nicely bifurcated filet. My filet was delicious and although it was a tad over my desired temp, it didn't hit the next level. And that lemon cake for dessert was worth feeling too full afterwards. It wasn't overly pricey considering two bottles of wine, cocktails, appetizers, etc. I'd go back again for the welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and cheaper than the national chains pricing.

The service was exceptional. We've never felt so welcomed, like we were visiting an old friend. It was not busy, and the staff was extremely attentive. We had questions about a few items, and they took their time to explain/answer. Regarding the steak (which is why I chose it)... I ordered the NY strip (leaner cut), which is my go-to. It was so well cooked, so tender, I could have sliced it with a spoon (the knife they brought me, clinked very loudly against my plate, it went through so easily). Everything else we ordered, from appetizer to sides to dessert, was equally well prepared (and presented). To be fair, it was not inexpensive, but we have spent similar amounts (or more), at "highly recommended" places, and felt rushed, and had steaks that were of a much lower quality. We wish we had discovered Andreas sooner. Can't wait to go back.

The downtown McKinney location is ideal and easy walking distance to other shops and restaurants, so no need to keep driving around. Food was great. The burger was juicy and flavorful even well done. The salmon was also well done with crispy edges and a slab of butter that melted right over it great flavor. Hoping that butter option is available for the steak because that's next on my list. Sides were solid too. Only thing I wasn't big on was the fries. They're super thin, so they were crispy but had a slightly hard, borderline stale texture. Our booth was very comfortable and easily fit our family of five. The noise level is above average, but not for a sports bar/brewery. It was just right for us. We could talk, but didn't to worry about anyone being disturbed by our kids being a little louder than normal. The menu isn't big, so I suggest perusing before arriving, especially if you have dietary restrictions or are picky. Our family settled on + Korean Shrimp Tacos (no dairy). The kitchen was super careful not to include any dairy in my tacos. They were tasty, but I didn't realize the shrimp would be fried and the slaw would be removed to accomodate my no dairy request. I would pick something else next time. + Big Tavern Burger for my husband and he loved it! Even the fries were a hit. + Big Tavern Burger with cheese and grilled onions only for one of the kids. + Plain hamburger and a single meat patty for our other two kiddos. + Hubby and I both got unsweet iced teas and the tea was brewed just right. Our waitress was wonderful, I hate that I forgot her name. She was friendly and kept our waters and iced tea full the whole time. She was never hard to find if we needed something, but gave us space to enjoy our dinner too. We will definitely be back!
