Outback Steakhouse was the one chain I saw constantly on TV growing up, but we never actually went as a family because it was more expensive compared to other casual American chains. A couple Mondays ago, my friends really wanted to get Outback for dinner. To our surprise, there was one a mile away, though the short drive was filled with my friends chanting "Bloomin' Onion, Bloomin' Onion!" in Australian accents so bad I'm surprised a kangaroo didn't hop out and punch them. I've honestly never heard of the Bloomin' Onion before this. As soon as our server arrived, my friend ordered the Bloomin' Onion without a second thought. What we ordered appeared to be the quintessential American appetizer. An onion sliced into the shape of fries, deep-fried, and arranged to look like a wilted flower of grease with some creamy sauce in the middle. It looked like a bunch of witch's claws assembled together. This might be a way to get some vegetables in your diet, but I don't think that's how it works. Looks wise, I wasn't impressed, but my friends had the biggest grins on their faces as they wolfed it down piece by piece. I hesitantly tried one, and I had to admit, it was quite good. It was well-battered, perfectly seasoned and crispy. However, I had to stop myself. I knew if I kept going, I'd be taking a long trip to the bathroom the next morning (and I know my friends took multiple). We also ordered a few other entrees, which took a long time to arrive. I wasn't hungry enough to join in, but my friends chowed down their steaks and salmons with ease, despite the lackluster quality. I always have a great time at this location, the staff are nice, funny and engaging. I came here recently after hearing they do "tail tuesdays" where they have a nice special of steak, a lobster tail, and a choice of two sides. I got my usual 6 oz sirloin, with a loaded baked potato without bacon, and sautéed mushrooms. However, the tail tuesday was only about $10 more than my order, so I will have to try it next time. read more

I never had a bad day here! Every time I decide to dine in the front house seats me right away and the server attends immediately. My order never came out wrong and the steak was always cooked to my request. The sides were delicious! I enjoyed my sweet potato! Comes with brown sugar, cinnamon and butter. Please note, you can request it on the side. As for the menu, don't forget to check out their specials! Great for couples and families! If you're seeking for a nice casual dinner, this location is super friendly. The lighting is dim but each table has a spotlight to brighten your experience. I had a filet migeon take out baked potato was cooked all day tuff dark. Filet was suppose to medium it was over cooked and dry. Carrot cake was not as fresh as I have had before there. I was there at the drive thru pickup didn't see alot of business. Obviously the food quality has degraded. Do they really think that your going to go back to that location for the next steak? Just because you not in the dining room seated and you could complain let's slip the ole food out to the drive pick up patrons. Good luck definity will look elsewhere to get a filet next time. The. They wid wonder where their business went. Food quality is key in that business. Probably won't go back there. It's not the first time for lousy food quality from there. I was surprised to see such a wild smattering of reviews when I clicked on this location to write mine. My partner and I had a wonderful experience here. All the way from the service, to the ambiance, to the quality of our food and drinks! We said it was one of the best Outback locations we have been to when we got into the car. Outback has been my jam this past year- they've upped their game and their takeout has been great along with our experience at the bar. We love the bartender- he's hilarious and has great service. The breaded mushrooms and Aussie fries are our favorite apps. We love the smoked old fashion and some of their signature cocktails. The breaded chicken with the bloomin breading is fantastic! The steaks have been perfect recently as well. Baked sweet potato's or baked potato soup are always fantastic. Don't sleep on this spot because it changed. We stopped here last night for dinner, everything was great except by the very end when we sat for about 20 minutes with a pile of plates in between us. I have no complain about food, and service was fine but who is supposed to buss the tables and take the plates? We even piled as best as we could to make it easier but no one took them. I had not been to an Outback in a number of years. I am so glad I came tonight. Everything was really tasty, and service was great. I ordered the Queensland chicken and shrimp alfredo pasta. It was really good. My companion ordered the sirloin and Alice Springs chicken. It was so so good! It came with two sides, he got a wedge salad and loaded baked potato. I love that wedge salad! We also ordered a Bloomin onion, delicious. We ordered it with a side of ranch dressing, which made it even more delicious. I had been craving some outback but didn't want to sit down and eat it there. Especially on a Saturday evening. So I ordered curbside... I pull up and see a sign plastered on all the doors. Let me begin with our server at the bar, he was really entertaining and enjoyable the service was quick and the appetizers were hot and very good. The main meal was at best terrible. Haven't been to Outback in years and decided to try it out with my boyfriend today. Wasn't really expect much since the last time I went was pretty bad. We got seated fairly quick and upon seating I stepped on a chunk of steak that was on the floor. It was pretty disgusting so I asked the waiter if he could get someone to take care of that. He decided to pick it up with his bare hands. Pretty unsanitary in my opinion? Anyways, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and hoped he washed his hands after. We weren't in the mood for steak so we went with the Aussie fries and the chicken wings. To my surprise, the chicken wings were amazing! They were super flavorful, you can see the seasoning on the skin. It was quite small, but very delicious nonetheless! The aussie fries were just alright. I think they could have used a bit more seasoning, however, dipped in the homemade ranch made it way better! For dessert we tried the new thunder and lightning. It was essentially a pecan brownie with a butter cake and icecream on top. The presentation was disappointing. It looked nothing like the picture on the menu, the butter cake was smaller and the whip cream was on the side. The brownie was a bit underwhelming but the butter cake tasted really good! It was a bit dense but other than that it tasted great. Overall, I would def come back for the aussie fries and chicken wings. I am updating my review and it's 5 stars because of the amazing customer service we received from Jared, yesterday evening. He was phenomenal. He was attentive, proactive, engaging, accurate, friendly etc. His service made me want to dine in more often. Thank you, Jared for your hospitality and kindness. In addition to the customer service, and honestly, the other staff members were friendly as well, but our food was really good last night. Appetizer: layered bacon and cheese fries Entrée #1: sirloin, sweet potato and salad--- Jared notice the toppings on the sweet potato were a little skimp, he took it upon himself to bring my mom some extra Entrée #2: pork chops with rice and broccoli It comes with a honey mustard glaze but I asked for the toowoomba (sp) topping. I didn't realize it came with the glaze. When I completed my order Jared suggested getting both on the side because he wasn't sure I would like the flavors together. He was right! Jared had no idea what we were going through, but he absolutely spoiled us with amazing service. Sirloins are always delicious here and are our go-to order. Tonight, I tried the lobster mac & cheese as a side and it was a perfect compliment to the steak. 10/10 recommend.
