If I got hired, I can do a far superior job of being a host. We four seniors waited two hours before our cold steak meals were served by a waitress, that we very rarely saw. She was crying and crying over a severe staff shortage. When we did see her, she repeatedly apologized for poor service. No brown bread was served, although we specifically asked for it. A skinny portion of cold Blooming Onions was served, with no small plates. After two hours, we finally got our silverware and meals. The steaks were delicious although served cold. The sweet potatoes were served cold. We were hungry so we ate. The drinks were fine. This was over $150.00 for the food and drinks. We left after 2 1/2 hours of sitting, exhausted from such a lengthy wait. The overcooked potato soup and onion soup had an excessive amount of salt. Next time, do not salt. We can salt ourselves. How many things can go wrong? Plenty, at this Leesburg steakhouse. Our dinner was a complete disaster! Our meals arrived in a timely fashion. We began eating. 5 minutes into our dinner, our server informed us, we were given the wrong food. I had been suspicious. After a brief wait, our correct dishes arrived. But.... My steak was overdone. My Wife's was underdone. I asked to see the Manager, who arrived full of apologies about a new cook in the kitchen. I told him about witnessing a host sweep food from a nearby table onto the floor, and how I planned to skewer the place on Yelp. He returned with gift cards and comped our dinners. Very gracious. Outback used to proclaim "No rules, just right." This episode was "Nothing right, except our salads." We will use our gift cards at another Outback. read more

I typically order take out or Uber eats from Outback Steakhouse; primarily their wings. I really, really enjoy the wings. They are different and not the typical crispy wings; they are breaded and fried, not too fatty, and very well seasoned. I'm a wing enthusiast and approve of these wings! And the "brown" soft bread that comes with it is also very good. 4.5 star, for sure! In regards to the other food items, I ordered a side of the steak Mac and cheese (there was no steak, but it was good), a baked potato (it was okay, somewhat dry, and didn't come with the requested sour cream and butter), and the chicken tenders platter (I wasnt a fan of the platter due to its small amount of tenders, and the tenders are similar to frozen bags. I expected to have many more tenders for $18. It seemed similar to the amount in a kids meal). Overall, I can not speak on the dining experience; yet, I would definitely recommend the wings on any day! Love them! We sat at the bar and I tell U what: got a big whiff of dirty mop water. Yuck!!! After around 3-4 minutes we finally received a greeting and acknowledgment by the multicolor-haired bespectacled girl behind the bar. Good grief how I cannot stand cloyingly friendly server types. She had her salad before the chicken; looked good at least. Outback usually does okay by their salads, and today appeared no different based on QB's feedback. QB chicken came out super hot and crispy. She also said it was very juicy and tender...they accompany it with their blooming onion sauce, which to me is a total oddity, much like my burger toppings: the normal LTPO, plus yellow mustard of all things. Well the whole lash up was tasty, hot and fairly fresh tasting. I think I might've gotten out of there a bit cheaper than what I thought. Anyhow, Ms Multihue certainly was attentive and friendly. She seemed to have a few regulars based on how she was taking orders and asking questions! Nothing wrong with that!! Overall: mission accomplished. We changed to the Ribeye, unfortunately I had to send my steak back because of the seasoning. They were Excellent about this. The chef brought out my new Ribeye cooked Perfectly along with another baked potato! Normally restaurants just replace the steak & then your potato is cold. We decided to visit outback for the first time in a longgggg time due to a friend's hankering for a blooming onion. We arrived a little after 8 and we're promptly seated by the hostess in the front. Our server was Sean and he was awesome! He was extremely friendly and attentive and made sure all of our needs were met. I tried the blackberry martini to drink and it was delicious! My friend had the booming Rita sampler which was pretty but had little alcohol content. We ordered a bunch of appetizers for the table. 2 blooming onions, a cheese fry and a cesar. One tip for everyone- don't sleep on the cheese fries here! They're so good! They rival the onion for sure. The blooming onion was good as always. I had the 8 oz. Victoria filet with asparagus and veggies. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare and the asparagus and steamed veggies were very good. Overall, I'm happy with our experience there and we'll be sure to visit more frequently. read more

Whatta mess this place was. Dated and dirty. Is the economy so bad Outback can't get it together? Is the workforce so bad it's keep'em or lock the doors?? See my last review for the Lady Lake fiasco. Received a gift cert and said ok we'll try again at a diff location. Deja Vue...should've left when I noticed the bread knife I was using had remnants of the last diners meal on it. The service was awful & there weren't many customers. There were a lot of employees who spoke to us & promised to return to take our order... but we never saw them again. No one actually took our over 10 minutes & even then she acted like she didn't expect us to be ready. Weird experience. Some guy brought us bread & drinks & ask if he could get us anything else. We answered, "Yes" & he acted surprised & said he'd find us somebody. It was ridiculous how many people asked us how we were doing when we were sitting there with an empty table. Maybe 35 minutes in I was brought the nastiest French Onion soup on the planet. It tastes as though they poured a packet of McCormick's seasonings in water & heated it up. Outback should be ashamed to charge $7.99 for garbage. They should be ashamed to serve that nasty crap at all. Now 4 hours later & I've brushed my teeth twice & eaten a ton of breath mints & the taste of some cheap brand of fake meat flavor just won't go away! I remember the Outback of the 1990s when they actually gave a damn about their reputation. This one in Leesburg is a bad joke. And there's no character at all. Have not been to an Outback in many years and now I remember why. Arrived on Saturday around 6 and was told that there will be a 45 minute wait, even though there were plenty of tables available. Apparently a staffing shortage. As we were seatedI looked around and found an unkept dining room. Filthy floors with no one attempting to clean them up. Waitstaff basically dresses in street clothes with no dress code apparently. My filet, ordered medium was medium on the inside but so badly scorched on the outside that it was very difficult to cut. Mashed potatoes were delicious as was the broccoli so no complaints there. Waitress was informed of our birthday celebration but never returned to sing to our honored guest. Overall, I feel I can get a lot more anywhere else for my money that I did here. Will never go back. Very disappointing. read more

We arrived just before 5:00 pm on Sunday. We were told that there was a 20-25 minute wait and to wait in our vehicles. No problem, and we figured they were social distancing since the majority of tables were empty. Got the text that our table was ready. Walked in and was greeted by very friendly staff that promptly set us at the bar. We could not even talk to one another due to the constant blender noise. Asked to be moved to a real table instead of having to listen to the continual kitchen noise. Was advised that we would have to wait for a table to be cleaned. (Not really sure why when the restaurant was pretty empty and they were not seating people to social distance. The bar area tables were totally full and the regular dining room was empty.) Finally got seated at a booth in the regular dining room. The seat had crumbs all over it and the cushion was so worn out that it was like sitting down on wood. We know better than to come here, but we had an older family member that wanted to go. So, I am leaving this review before even getting our food because based on what we have seen so far, I am not expecting much and I really just don't want to be anymore negative. Jessica C is amazing and made up where everyone else was lacking. Call ahead seating at 6:10 for a 6:25 call ahead time. Called 3 times for call ahead no answer, called the hostess stand answered on the first ring and when I asked for call ahead I received an attitude from the hostess and was yold my party of 5 might be separated to 2 separate tables which made no sense. Arrived at the restaurant and was told 15 minutes wait with half the restaurant was empty. Waited 45 minutes checked 2 times if the table was ready and received attitude again told me there are people in front of me. A man named James came in after I waited for 30 minutes and was seated in 15 minutes. When we did get seated, we were asked if the large round table was ok and we said yes it has been open for 30 minutes so that would be great. Needless to say the kitchen rocked and the server rocked but the hostess had a bad attitude and I feel that I was singled out.
