First I want to mention my server was awesome! The food was very good as well. So why only 3 stars? I ordered the Full Rack of ribs. When it came the portion was (from any other steakhouse Resturant standards) a half rack of ribs. You could clearly see where they cut it in half. My waiter said for Outback that is considered a full rack. The half rack must be ridiculously small! I wouldn't care except for the fact they charged $23.49. My sons GF was dining with us so I didn't want to make a fuss by speaking to the manager but be Warned if you order a FULL Rack you're really getting a Half Rack! read more

Food took equally long and then upon waiting for my check a roach crawled out of my booth , the sever called the manager out and he proceeded to kill it with a napkin and walked away like this was a common occurrence! How do you start "awful"? I have to say that the server was exceptional and professional and very attentive. The $4.95 glass of house Chardonnay was pretty darn good. Then it gets ugly. Who is their chef(s)? The half serving of bloomin onion was terrible....nothing like I have had before. My girlfriends fish taco stunk and it that is not from smelly fish either. The chopped tomatoes used for the taco were not fresh. You could tell by just looking.Yuck. I had the prime rib dip. the baguette was not crisped and under baked. The mushrooms and onion were on the bottom instead of on top with the melted cheese. As a kid growing up I would dread going to Outback Steakhouse when my parents would drag me along to the family steak house for a meal. I was hesitant to try this place in my adult years and I ended up being pleasantly surprised. I had a wonderful experience at the steakhouse. As an appetizer we had the steak quesadilla which had the perfect crunch and was filled with very tender steak. I ordered the tilapia with lump crab on top and a side of mac & cheese. The meal was filling and seasoned very well. Our server was so accommodating, and made sure we were completely satisfied with everything. I would come again! read more

My husband and I went for what we hoped was to be a special New Year's weekend dinner. We were so disappointed it was ridiculous. My husband ordered the salmon and it came out looking and tasting like it was cooked for over an hour. We sent it back and were given the opportunity to re-order Something different so he ordered a small rack of ribs and we were told they would be an up charge. Are you kidding me an up charge after we sent and an edible fish back? Unacceptable. He also had an uncooked baked potato. I was really looking forward to the prime rib, but sadly, it was not cooked as medium as requested but medium well. It had no flavor other than all the salt that was on it. I had the wedge salad half of which was an odd shade of green with some brown edges as if the lettuce had been frozen at some point. Now I normally wouldn't write such a negative review after just one bad meal but this is the third time we were disappointed with both our meals. Have been here many times you can't be the prices and service. The steaks are always cook very well and love that blooming onion. We do think some of the desserts are overpriced especially the carrot cake, one slice for like eight dollars. Also if you get one of their all-inclusive meals you get cheesecake with it but you can't substitute the carrot cake. Years ago they let you do that. read more

The service here is amazing. Coming from Vermont and decided to stop in. We were going to eat in NY but the kids couldn't wait. Chastity was our server and she was absolutely amazing. There were some snafu's with the kitchen but she went above and beyond to make this a pleasurable experience. After a long long day of driving, this family appreciated all of her efforts. Yeah, that's right. It's a chain and I actually like it. Occasionally, I might go to a place twice as expensive with condescending waiters and an inflexible kitchen. But I'm much more interested in eating a good steak. And dammit, these guys have the steak thing knocked. I'm a NY Strip guy, and my wife prefers the filet. And you must, must get them topped with the sauteed onions. I could eat the onions by themselves, they are so good. And let's not overlook the Caesar Salad. It's in my top three of Caesars.... very, very good. The croutons are delicious, the dressing is fantastic. Needless to say, there are quite a few delicious appetizers, many of which will clog your arteries quicker than you can say "quadruple bypass." But in my younger and more impulsive days, I can say their Aussie Cheese Fries were magnificent. That would be one of the things I would order if it were my last night on Death Row. The service is also generally very good, and might I say if you're man enough to order a not-so-manly drink, I give the Frozen Strawberry Margarita two effeminate thumbs up. So, if you like that type of atmosphere that reminds you of that crazy guy in the khaki outfit that used to wrestle with alligators yet got killed by a docile flying fish, I would say go on over to Outback, mate. read more

I hadn't been here in a long time - maybe 10 years. Had been to other locations around the country more recently during travels to suburban locales. Generally found to be decent. However, a recent visit here was fairly disappointing. Started with the drinks - a margarita I ordered was horribly watered-down with scarcely any alcohol. A glass of red wine served later was too warm (a not uncommon problem, unfortunately). I ordered my steak medium. The waitress then gives you a spiel about how medium means not just pink, but a little red, implying the lesser done end of medium. Great, I prefer that. However, my steak was clearly NOT that, it was a standard medium bordering on medium well. That spiel is just a cover-your-ass move on their part, to give themselves more leeway. Kind of lame. Further, my dad ordered his medium well. However, his steak was cooked rather unevenly so that much of it was medium rare. A steakhouse shouldn't be messing up like this. Finally, the three shrimp that came with my steak combo were far too small - 2 inches at best. I felt totally ripped off for having ordered them. I only noted two positives - the baked sweet potato side was rather nice, and the service was decent. But doesn't make up for the fact that execution is way off, or for the cheap shrimp. read more

Nice friendly staff, but the food for this chain was not impressive. I tried the marinated rib-eye and unfortunately seemed to be drowned in Rosemary. The other seasonings on the steak really overpowered the natural flavor of the meat - and not in a good way. I didn't finish it. I wanted grilled asparagus as a side but they were out of it. The only other green veggies they had in stock were steamed green beans (no flavor at all and too crunchy) and a house salad that was very bitter and not that green. The restaurant is located in the parking lot of the Courtyard Marriott. This place gets very busy on the weekend and you can wait in excess of an hour to get a seat. However, if you decide to wait it out or go on a day that it is not so busy, you will not be sorry. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very fresh and the steak is delicious! I decided to order the prime rib and it was amazing. It was marbled nicely and seasoned to perfection. It came out in less than 20 minutes. The server frequently stopped by the table to make sure the food was okay and that our drinks were always full. I will certainly come back with friends to try some other menu options. I left stuffed and also with a decent sized to go bag. I also wanted to mention that the prices are pretty reasonable. read more

Pretty much what you'd expect. The bartenders are very nice (I ate at the bar three consecutive nights) but the conversations they have with the regular clientele border on the frustratingly mundane. The drinks (cocktails) are overpriced for what you get but at least they have some options beyond a gin and tonic. The food, in my opinion, is superior to other national chains.but be prepared to answer 5-10 questions for every item you order. This location is immediately in front of the Courtyard by Marriott. I had the pleasure of going to outback on yesterday and I wanted 24 hours to really think about the service, the food, the restaurant and the atmosphere. I really wanted to take him the entire ambience. Coming into the restaurant with the new look it is very welcoming and inviting. The set up is now bringing the entire restaurant together and not so separated from one another. I love the new look! The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming to all who came into the restaurant. There was one waitress who seemed a little all over the place with the way she presented herself approached the hostess, so I was hoping that she would not be our waitress. Needless to say, they set us in her section. They seem to be a bit shorthanded, so each of them had quite a few tables. As a former waitress, I understood this so patients was a virtue. Going into the restroom, it's smelled bad and I was trying my best to get out of there quickly. You could tell it was something that they use to clean the floor. Determined to have a great Sunday, I recanted and went back to my seat. The waitress finally came over, with an attitude and we begin to look at the menu. Throughout our entire time of being there, we had to get the waitress attention to come to us every single time with the exception of one time, when she came with the bill. I waited patiently to see if she would ever clear the two top table off so we could be able to enjoy our meals, if it wasn't for her coworkers we will still have many things left on the table. The food was OK, I would not get the chicken wings again they were not good at all. I truly enjoyed the ribs but I would not get the chicken because it is not tender, it was tough robbery. We love the brownie for dessert! In my conclusion, I think I have had my share of Outbook and I don't plan on returning, neither do I plan on inviting a friend. read more

We have been coming to this steakhouse for years because it has been my son's absolute favorite eatery! He loves their steak and famous Aussie chicken wings. Their steak, porterhouse pork chops & chicken are really good. Standards salads, potatoes, veggies are all good. Honestly, you can't go wrong with those! Today my son took my mother and I to lunch...about 2pm. Not many people dining. I have to start out by saying our service was very slow..I understand some of the staff may have been sent home since lunch hour was over, but odd how slow we were served throughout our meal. Finally the server came to us, (uncomfortable that she kneeled and wrote on the table) Unprofessional not to stand when taking your guests order!! We ordered our drinks and blooming onion.........waited. Drinks came and we ordered our entrees........waited. Blooming onion came. We ate that, then waited for our entrees quite a while..starting to wonder if something was wrong, but didn't say anything since we were talking. Entrees finally arrived, I noticed the size of my prime rib was small considering our prior visits ordering the same size at those visits, It was larger. I didn't want to say anything in front of my son to show a problem...other then the food arriving after a long wait, and the portion size...the server and others were very nice and pleasant..food was delicious. Ok been a big fan Of Outback from back in the day. Many friends worked there thru the years always had smiling faces. This place is suffering a slow death. The past 5-7 years or so have been slowly getting worse and we go less and less. Was there on a Sunday at about 6:30 pm and I could tell things are not good at all as the place was almost empty. Servers are starting to look unprofessional kinda dumpy with no enjoymentment of the job and the place just seems dirty and dark. Food was also terrible. The Onion was Dark and Greesy dripping with oil. I got the Blooming chicken also extremely dark and oily and so salty I couldn't even eat it ( and I like salt). The broccoli was mushy but the mashed potatoes were good. My wife got the Salad she was the lucky one. I only gave 2 stars because the bartender was friendly and nice other than that 1 star would have been given. This review is honest and I'm not a picky person but I do not think we will ever go back now. Very sad. read more

So we went to outback last night because we received a gift card. We will not be returning. My bf and I both ordered draft beers and we were told the tap was broken. We then switched to a bottled Boston Lager and Sam's seasonal. Waiter comes back and informs us they are all out of bottled Sam Adams of any kind. UGH. So I order a skinny margarita and my bf gets a dos xx. The margarita was basically juice (couldn't taste even a hint of alcohol) and a bottle of dos xx turns out to be over $5. After finally getting the drinks (our third choices), there is still no bread on our table, so we ask. Bread eventually comes...followed thirty seconds later by our food. I got the sesame salad with ahi tuna and my bf gets the bloomin burger. Both are "fine," but nothing special. The waiter came back and my drink was empty so he asks if I want another, ignoring the fact that my date also has an empty glass. While at the table, he takes away the rest of bread and butter and tries to take my plate with food still on it. Don't get between a girl and her food. We finally got out of there $63 later (luckily the gift card covered most of it) and are positive we will not be returning to any outback steakhouse, gift card or not. read more

No other Steakhouse in the area comes close. Was absolutely glad to have Sal as my waiter. Polite attentive and made us feel comfortable.
