We were seated right away, that was great. Our drinks order was taken and we ordered the chicken wings as an appetizer. The appetizer came out with the fountain drinks. These are my favorite wings. At this time we added another cocktail to our order while still waiting for the first cocktail ordered. We placed our entrees order. The entrees started to come out. I asked about my cocktail. I didn't get a response. Waitress approached the bar and got it right away. As we were halfway done I had to ask about the second cocktail again. Only then it was served. The bar attendant seem to be very focused on cleaning and picking up chairs instead of making drinks. When that last cocktail came out I asked about bread. Why didn't we get bread? I was told it's because they have to turn off the oven early (we arrived at 8:30pm) so there was no bread. I thought that was early for a restaurant that closes at 10pm. We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. It was busy but we were seated quickly. All of the staff members we encountered were very nice. Our server was Jeffrey L and he was very attentive throughout the meal and even quickly fixed an error on my dinner which was very appreciated. While the service is great, I just find the food to be lackluster. Everything was prepared as ordered. We got macaroni and cheese bites as an appetizer. They were pretty good. I had a side Caesar salad that I wasn't a fan of. I didn't care for the dressing much. For my meal I ordered sirloin steak with grilled shrimp and macaroni and cheese (yes, more macaroni and cheese, don't judge me lol.) The macaroni and cheese is good. The shrimp are okay. My steak was fairly gristly and the seasoning was kind of strong. It's just nothing fantastic in my opinion. If you are a fan of Outback or have never tried it, it's worth going to check it out. I placed an order online, called this location to verify the order went thru since I didn't recieve any confirmation. Bobby went WAAAAAAY over and above. The order had not gone thru but showed it had debited my card. I work in customer service and I have to say I have NEVER seen someone so caring about an issue. The only redeemable thing about my experience here today was the amazing food, as always. After several wonderful outings at this location this is by far the worst experience I've had. A server named "Derrenz D" gave us the worst service I've had at ANY restaurant in years. He had an attitude from the start and made weird, passive comments that me and my family couldn't tell if he was joking or not because of how dry his tone was. We give server's the benefit of the doubt because we understand they have bad days, especially on a busy holiday like Father's Day. However, since he attended nearby tables we overheard him being very cheerful with at least three other tables and giving them completely different but better service than we got. This was our first time visiting since a Yelp event that took place earlier this year. The General Manager, Yolanda stole our hearts so we had to return. I figured there would be quite the wait on a Friday evening but surprisingly we were seated immediately. I got the Naturally Skinny 'Rita which only has just 150 calories. It was absolutely delicious, worth the $7.25 and made me feel less bad about what I ate as an appetizer and as an entree ;) Here's a tip: you can never go wrong with a Bloomin' Onion. I saw a glorious picture of their Shrimp and Chicken Alfredo on the menu and immediately thought "I'd really love if the shrimp that came with this dish were the coconut variety and could come on the side." I looked up and saw a sign stating "no rules, just right" and figured I'd ask. Our kind server, Suzette, stated she could make that happen and sure enough she did. Wow. 5-star service. We were blown away during our visit this evening. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and about halfway through our bloomin onion, we were already commenting on how "on it" the wait staff was. They were refilling our drinks without asking, updating us on our orders, etc. We also noticed the teamwork of the staff and that was really cool to watch everyone working together to give guests a quality experience. The food came quickly and was delicious. We were super hungry, so there was no time for photos this time. But we loved every bite. The manager came to check on us a few times and we felt really taken care of, like we were part of the family. The service alone will bring us back to eat here again, but it helps that the food was delicious too. We ordered some steaks and sides, and they were all cooked perfectly and came out hot. The baked potato is outstanding and loaded. The steaks were cooked to the requested doneness and seasoned nicely. On a Saturday evening, it was busy, but we didn't wait for a seat and we didn't notice any lag in service. We will definitely be back (and I'll take pictures next time!). read more

Steak and brown bread, that's really all you need to say here. Although the staff definitely deserves a shout-out for this location considering how amazing they all are!! Although this is a chain restaurant, which may take people are back to give it a five-star, I think they're well deserving of a 5-star rating. Well this location is not super new, it is relatively new to the Orlando area and in a newer shopping plaza area. They have plenty of parking and it's super easy to get in and out of. The staff greets you immediately and we'll make sure you're taken care of. I highly recommend Stephanie as a server she was excellent from beginning to end and her attitude and friendliness really made all the difference. A personal favorite is the classic style ribs and of course any kind of steak you get from here is a center cut steak so it's going to be delicious. I also love the fact they offer you the healthier option of getting your steak without butter on it so that you can save several hundred calories and the flavor is still on point and delicious to eat. I think you would be surprised to find out that my favorite side here is broccoli, they actually have an amazing seasoning that they add to it and definitely be sure to ask for no butter on this as well if you're trying to watch those calories and stay healthy. And of course an entire loaf of brown bread is in order because you earned it by saving all those calories on the no butter options. Keep in mind that Outback does do an awesome happy hour so if you're looking for a place to go right after work and save some money on some good eats this is definitely a solid choice. They have plenty of seating both at the bar and in the restaurant itself, so you shouldn't be hard pressed to get seated in a reasonable amount of time. Overall: A+ Steak and brown bread for the win. Last night, on Valentines day, I had one of the worst TOGO orders I have ever had, from Outback Steakhouse. I got a Chicken Tender dinner for me, a Ribeye for my wife, and a piece of cheesecake for my wife. Ruined our Valentines day dinner tbh The cheesecake was $9.59 and half the size of a slice I can get from my local grocery store for $5, and not even that great tasting per my wife. Her steak was just "ok". The sides she got were cold, both mashed potatoes My tenders were so tiny that if I put them next to each other they would equal a SINGLE TENDER from a place like Zaxbys or KFC. My fries were cold, soggy, and limp. My mashed potatoes were cold as well. You might say "Why did you not go back to the resteraunt you got it from. Simple! It was late, busy on the roads due to Valentines Day, and I was tired from work. We ate our food and just decided to never go back to Outback again. I should have known honestly. Every time we get a Togo order from some Steakhouse near us, its crap. Texas Roadhouse has repeatedly forgotten items. Outback is always cold and lifeless and now small portions. This is typically our go-to location because of where we live. The food and service are consistent here, and typically very good. This time we were here celebrating a family member's birthday. Based on the number of times we heard them sing during our stay, so was everybody else in town, lol. Most of us got steaks, which were cooked properly to order. The food was hot and fresh. 1/17/2024 Our church group (about 18 of us) meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at different Restaurants in the Central Florida area. Today we met at Outback on S. Semoran Blvd. by the airport. The hostess JoAnn was so welcoming to those who arrived early. We waited until 1/2 our group had arrived then we were seated. Our server (Skylar) was very organized and sociable. He took care of all of us, from our drinks to our food. I had the prime rib sandwich with French onion soup. I couldn't have been more pleased with my order! I'm sorry now that I didn't take pictures because everybody's plate was well presented as well as tasty. We were there from 1p-3p and it was the perfect time to go. I would recommend this restaurant. Outback Terminal B near gate 70. This was absolutely the worst Outback I have ever been to. I asked to taste the wine the server Pablo let me try one which i didn't care for then said he couldn't let me sample a second. So i ordered a glass based on the description and it was worse than the first one i tasted. I ordered the sirloin with a Cesar salad Pablo obviously didn't have any previous experience as a server. The salad and the Steak came at the same time. The Cesar was not very good and without any warning he set down my steak on an extremely hot plate that i nearly burn my hand on. The steak was so charred on one side, the plastic fork they had given me would not even go in. I should have returned it all and had them refund everything. We walked over from Doubletree to eat here. The atmosphere was nice. The building is far enough away from the busy road so you don't notice the traffic, plus there is a fountain in the water outside the window that spurts up on schedule like old Faithful.. Our server was enthusiastic, polite and attentive. We ordered burgers without the bun and sweet potato. It was all fine. Our only disappointment was no fault of Outback. Two-Longhorn-reviews-in-one-day: part 2 What? This was an OUTBACK? Well bloomin' onion, I didn't know that? And to think that the good experience at the one led me to a second visit at a competitor makes the head spin. Maybe that's the beauty with chains - they FREE you to explore their foes? Be that as it may... we had a Yelp event here last year; I was so impressed (I wasn't the only one) that, as far away as I live, I wanted to come back to visit. Finally the opp presented itself today - a giant ribeye for lunch? Hey why not - I've worked pretty hard, and slept little; only right that i get a treat. In order to catch a flight out of MCO, I went from my Cru session at the nearby Holiday Inn to an early lunch here. Andrew was congnizant of my tight time and provided prompt, considerate service. The caesar was reminiscent of the one at Longhorn (salty! lots of dressing!), as was the steamed broccoli side - see how confusing it is! The steak, too, was slightly on the gristley side like my NY cut at Longhorn, and a wee bit too salty. Interestingly, the MR came kind of weird - instead of a gradual change from a seared exterior to a bloody center, it had a very abrupt line between the cooked and (almost) uncooked - probably a sign that the steaks came from a very cold place to a very hot one (I'll have pix post haste - yeah, I forgot to check in). I washed it down with a pint of suds (did I mention I'd kind of 'worked' for this?): choices of interest to me were Goose Island, Sam Adams BL, and Wolf Pup IPA, which I'd never had and would have tried if I knew it was one of the choices. But the Goose was loose - no complaints! Will likely visit again though if I'm in the area, since they were so good at that Elite event! read more

Upon arrival I saw food scraps on the floor. Older lady was bussing tables where customers had long since left. It appeared WAY understaffed! As you know Outback is a chain/franchise. Looking over the reviews you can see that some have had great experiences and some less so. I have been here a few times and have been on both ends of the spectrum. That being said, no matter if you have a good experience or some problems I can say 100% they WILL ABSOLUTLEY make it right. Yolanda the GM is very customer focused and trains her staff the same way. We are all human and everyone makes mistakes so sometimes food gets cold or forgotten. This is the Outback Steakhouse near Orlando International Airport. My wife and I attended a special menu preview evening. The Outback Steakhouse was getting ready to roll out a new menu and wanted to run it by us. Let me tell you, the staff, owner, and kitchen staff of this location are phenomenal. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable about cocktails, appetizers, entrées that we're going to be served that evening, and just all-around service. As they brought the dishes out, they paired it with either a beer or an ale and explained everything as they presented it. The cocktails, the food, the service, the kitchen staff, and the owner were all phenomenal. This crew at this location, are fully engaged. Dosen't matter if they were talking about someone else" if they were talking about" then it's still not good a customer could hear your kitchen complaining when there the ones that messed up the order. I'll never be back again! Bad service and terrible food. I went with my family friday night. the place wasn't full. At the first we asked about the craft locals beer our server said: " I dont know are tou sure do you want me to go to the bar to check that?". We ordered one 8oz sirloin, one kid steak meal and a shrimp ceasar salad. Both steak we sent back impossible to eat, hard, lots of fat, nerves and taste like frozen and refrozen meat. We arrived to a half-empty restaurant on a Saturday night. Prime time. Seriously, at least half of the tables were empty. 45 minute wait. WHAT????????????? People were walking up, hearing that, and walking back to their cars. Yes. She confirmed a 45 minute wait. I decided to leave, but my wife wanted to try it. She asked if we could sit at the bar. The hostess said "you can IF you can find a seat, but you can't sit at the high-tops around the bar, just at the bar itself. IF you can find a seat there." The thing is... I'm pretty tall. I could see the bar. There were like 6 people sitting at the bar made for ~20 people. I told my wife there wasn't hardly anyone at the bar. Off we went. The hostess reminded us that if we couldn't find a seat at the bar, we couldn't sit at the high-tops around the bar. Obviously, that didn't happen. We were told at the bar the wait was an artificial wait designed by management to help the kitchen keep up with 2 large parties that were there. We did not see said large parties. I'm not saying they made that up, but I think you might notice 2 groups with "like 25 people each" in them if you looked around a restaurant that was this empty. Honestly, though, if you don't have a kitchen that can't keep up with a Saturday night crowd at a very mid-sized restaurant... you might be in trouble. The back porch with a large amount of tables was closed on a beautiful evening which was a prime one for using it. The restaurant was half empty. This makes me think this place might actually have problems. Our drinks were good. Our food was good. The steak we shared was more rare than the medium-rare we ordered, but we're happier with it being closer to rare than medium. The service from the bartenders was very good. A few more folks joined us at the bar and it got to be pretty busy. The rest of the restaurant filled in a little bit, but I think they lost most of their crowd to the artificial wait. There was no one waiting when we left and the dining room wasn't full. Another odd thing was the kitchen was also running out of steaks. We apparently got the last porterhouse. I'm not sure how I feel about getting the last steak? Was it the worst one? Why was it the last? I mentioned that to the bartender and she said they run out of steaks all the time. She listed off a couple they were already out of that night and now they were out of porterhouses. We didn't close the place down. Maybe that's what the real reason for the wait was???? Making people go away because they didn't have enough steaks???? I can't imagine a world where we'll come back, even though the food, drinks, and service were decent.
