Had not been at an Outback for years. As far as I remembered the food was awesome, specially the bread. Sadly this time was not the same. The food tasted more commercialized and looked cheaper. The blooming onions were saturated in oil, I give them a 2. The blooming burgers were not too bad, I personally disliked the sauce, it tasted fishy, I give them a 3. The fries were pretty descent, I give them a 4. Overall presentation a 3. The sirloin and slice springs chicken tasted yummy, but again presentation was terrible for the price, giving it a 3 for presentation and a 4 for taste. The onion soup was good, giving it a 5. We spend over $200. Sadly for the cost, I believe we could have gotten somewhere else and gotten better tasting food. The atmosphere was good and the service was great. Our servers were Brody and Linnet that helped was all smiles. Because of the service we left a $25% tip and even gave the person that picks up the tables a separate tip. Will have to think about going back for the food. Maybe the chef was having a bad day or was new? Overall giving them a 4 star. read more

We came this location after a Sunday afternoon junking in Jenks. Our server was very courteous and funny when she came to greet us for our drinks and app's. Forgot her name, but this is a general "shout out" to this exact location. Food and drinks were on par. We had a great weekend to make the most of our shopping for unique things.. ended up here for steaks and bread. Their complementary bread is always fresh. I had a simple 8 Oz sirloin with double mixed vegetables, daughter had salmon and double mashed taters, husband had a 6 Oz sirloin with double bakers. Nothing fancy.. we were easy to please. Our youngest kiddo ordered the chicken tenders -we kept it simple . We are particular about our steaks, they made the mark. read more

Eddie's our man! Our drinks, appetizers and good attitude were delivered wonderfully. The blooming' onion has grown smaller over the years, but it's still delicious, and the steak queso was pretty terrific. The chips, though, seemed a little stale - but I didn't say anything. My daughter pulled up a "secret menu" on the phone for Outback. So we decide to try it out, and having other orders in our back pocket if it didn't work it out. Eddie went to check to see if the secret menu Filet Portobello and Teriyaki Filet Medallions were going to be able to accommodate, and no, not here. It's ok though. Really. Ho hum:/ Everything else, because of Eddie's remarkable and accommodating service went very well! Hubby's seems to be enjoying his surf and turf, and I just enjoyed my prime rib sandwich. Another excellent meal today at Outback. I don't know that we have ever had a bad meal at Outback. My son and husband are on a lobster kick lately. They love the lobster tail at Outback. Although it is small, it is sweet and delicious, and the sirloin is juicy and perfectly cooked. I had my traditional grilled salmon with a side of broccoli, which was the buttery and possibly the best I've ever eaten. The service was exceptional today. Our waitress did a great job anticipating our needs and taking care of us. A great dining experience today! read more

Good service wide selection of steaks, seafood, chicken dishes plus pork chops and ribs. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Pricing was fair and what one should expect I in steak restaurant chains. Side dishes and appetizers were numerous and tasty. We shared a large blooming onion as our starter plus they have nice dark beer bread with butter that everyone loved. We had son n law's birthday last week and 6 of us Had a variety of salads ( house, wedge and chopped ) all were good but the chopped was special. Baked potatoes, baked sweet potato's , mashed garlic and steak fry's along with other sides are available. Decent wine list and full bar is available. Several desserts were available - carrot cake, cheese cake , chocolate cake and ice cream. While they do not take reservations you can call in or use website to get on standby list that greatly reduces wait time. They are only open for dinner (4pm) Monday thru Fri. Started off good but then when you have to wait 45 min for your food then not everyone in your party got a plate because they forgot to cook it. They did offer to get it cooked but by that time everyone just wanted to go. The only thing they offered was to make sure that entree we didn't get wasn't going to be on the check. With a bill over 200 the manager could have at least offered to take the 2 appetizers off. Won't be back read more

We have been to this location several times and have had a good experience, but this last time was less than par. This time was a Tuesday night and the employees seemed worn out, just going through the motions. We had the aussie cheese fries for an app. I had the peppercorn short rib on the hostess recommendation, which was average at best with room temperature mashed potatoes. My wife had the petite surloin with coconut shrimp. The sirloin was over cooked vs. the medium temp. we asked for. And to top it off we were not even offered dessert. We went to Outback not really sure what we would encounter with all of the bad reviews, but it was VERY good! Our waiter was JT. He was a great waiter. Very attentive & prompt. We had a bloomin onion that was flaming hot! I had a salad (good), Alice Springs chicken (very good) & broccoli (nicely cooked & seasoned! Some places undercook broccoli and it's hard). My husband had prime rib cooked the "Outback way." They add seasonings to your piece of prime rib then seer it on the grill. He also had mashed potatoes & Brussels sprouts. All of our food was appropriately hot & seasoned. It had been quite awhile since we had eaten ar Outback, but it was definitely good &worth another trip! read more

Went there on a date night and not happy at all. Service was slow and they were not busy. I got the chicken that was $20 wow half a chicken breast for that price. If you blind folded me and dipped it in there sauce and gave it to me I would of swear it was rings from burger King dipped in there zesty sauce it tasted just like it. I got mashed potatoes and they don't have gravy how do you not serve gravy with mashed potatoes? Then I got frys they share were skimpy on those to there were 14 frys on my plate. My date got the steak and it wasn't cooked how she asked so the waiter took it back when we got it back it was crispy black burnt and still red in the middle. Wast of money. read more

Went here on a Sunday evening. We were sat in the bar area. No server in the bar area so the bartender took our order. Service was slow in general as we were not sitting at the bar. Why give love for a chain ? Bc this is one of the best of the chain, one of the best chains in Tulsa, and consistently outperforms the average casual, sit-down establishment. Been with wife (date night), friends, & also with big groups of family, perhaps 8-10 visits per year over the last 5 years. Service has been consistently excellent. The food is dependably good (the whole purpose of a chain, right?). Outback, especially this one, is consistently ahead of the competition (Logan's, Carabas, and way, way ahead of Santa Fe Cattle Co). With various promotions, coupons, and "My Outback Rewards" program, Outback also delivers strong value. We've been coming long enough to survive a couple waves of server turn-over. Yet this location is managed well. Try a mixed grill with some seafood or a ribs/ chicken combo. I favor the pecan bleu cheese chopped salad & sweet potato as the accompaniment. By the way--don't forget to try the Burger--one of the very best of the $9 burgers out there (only Flemings beats it in my opinion). read more

We went here with a party of 5. Our grandma is 89. We where sat in a booth. I asked if we could have the table with the 6 chairs and she told me no. "You don't have enough people". Um. Ok. So we all squished in a booth. Not the most comfortable but we managed. Server came. Ordered drinks. Grandma (89) was asking about wines. She didn't seem to know anything but, "if it's on the list we have it" ok. Thanks for that. Food was good. Very good actually. Everyone had excellent dinners. All and all not bad. The hostesses seating us could have been a bit more accommodating with the table but customer service is a thing of the past so I don't expect much. read more

Warning!!! This may be a longish review! A couple of months ago I did a review of the Outback Steakhouse, near 71st and Mingo, that was not so great. Apparently, management saw the review and sent me a gift card, to say "sorry for the bad experience. Here is a meal on us, please give us another chance to impress." Mega Kudos to Outback for listening to reviews! All that said, I feel even more obligated to be extremely, brutally honest. Let me start with the good. I ordered lobster and the filet with mashed potatoes and a side salad. The lobster was delicious! The mashed potatoes were perfect! That's where the good ends! Here's the bad. The filet could not have been worse. I didn't think it was possible to screw up a filet but Outback did it. It was not seared at all. It almost seemed liked it was steamed. The meat itself was tender but the execution of the steak was terrible, and it ruined a beautiful cut of meat. Now here's my rant. I am appalled at how Outback charges high prices for everything, but cut every corner possible. The salad tasted wilted and cheap. Mac and cheese is a $1.99 up charge!!!! Yes thats right an up charge for one the cheapest sides you can serve! Shame on whoever thought of that ridiculous idea! That is insulting! But wait the stinginess doesn't end their. They also have $1.59 up up charge to put butter on your steak!!! Unbelievable! Excuse me for being honest, but that is absurd. Any great steakhouse puts butter on a steak as part of the steak. Their should never be an up charge to cook steak correctly. To top it all off, my plate was not garnished! Yet another indication that Outback has made poor decisions in food preparation! Now the ugly! The service wasn't great either. Our sever was pouring sweat, and if anything it was chilly inside. It seemed like he was under the influence of something. He was hard to communicate with, and didn't know the menu. It took forever to get our food, and forever to pay for our food. Note to management (if they read it). I don't want another free meal, and that's not why I gave another bad review. I was gave this review in hopes that the Outback will be aware of areas of improvements, and take steps towards correction. I hate it when people and businesses are simply going through the motions, and don't really give a damn! It seems like right now Outback is just going through the motions! Great service by Susan dale She went over and beyond to help us. All food was great except my filet. First it was flat thin and burned looking. I sent it back and the second one was much better. Please go back to your thick cut filets or I'm going back to Longhorn steak house even though you are right down the road from me. Right when I walked in I was greeted by 2 hosts who not only sat me fast but had a great attitude and made me feel welcomed right away. My server Tyler came over within a couple minutes and greeted me as well and helped us figure out what we wanted on the menu and was very helpful. As many mid range restaurants go, it's "hit or miss". This play is about an 80% miss. I've been here more than once so shame on me. Well actually it was my son's birthday so he wanted to go here. Anyway, I ordered the steak and shrimp pasta. The steak was subpar, the shrimp was bland and watery, and the pasta was straight up horrible! It was also like warm. Then their was my sons steak. He ordered his medium rare, it came out mooing. The blooming onion was good at least. Then the drinks lacked carbonation. We waited 15 min for the new ones to come out. The manager came out and brought my sons recooked steak back out. I shared with her my disappointment with my meal and obviously my sons steak wasn't cooked right. She was just like, "yeah that meal sucks, oh well" and walked off. They didn't offer any compensation or apologize for any of it. This manager is UNFIT to manage a restaurant and she is a direct reflection of why this Resturant is horrible. Never again! Wife and I have been many times at Outback before and our experience has been good. Unfortunately, this time, at the Riverside location, it was terrible. We sat at the bar. Bartender never acknowledged our presence. Rude and not sympathetic. She just limited herself to take the order and punched it into the computer. Never offered the bread.
