I was a customer for several years. I was waiting for a quote for snow plowing last November. They contacting me late last November a d informed me that they didn't have many residential customers in Old Lyme, so they needed to chargee for commercial properties. It was very disappointing and frustrating. The reason was that they had two years of low snow removal and they had to make more money. I do not recommend this company at all and the owner is very difficult to deal with. read more

Update: The French drain no longer works the way it's supposed to. The pipe is now visible in several areas of the yard. My husband has had to repair the hinges on the fence gate because the wood just split where it was installed. All in all, they charged me $17k for what amounted to maybe $10k worth of work. it tells a lot about a company the way their employees conduct themselves. had a rather unpleasant situation where one of the employees became very unhinged spewing profanities about my wife and mother, and threatened me with physical violence in front of my mothers house. She is 93 years of age. This so far has happened twice with the same employee. How things go today I'm sure they'll be no consequences for him. No accountability. read more

I have a fairly large piece of property. Prior owners didn't do any fall cleanup. You couldn't even remotely see the lawn or the driveway. Gutters were all overflowing with leaves and sticks, huge areas of bramble that had to be removed, hedges that ran the length of the property that were all seriously overgrown, and low hanging branches. Let me tell you, I got home today and i was in shock how absolutely amazing the yard looked. They accomplished soooo much work in a short period of time and it was simply beautiful! The price was very reasonable. I don't think I could have found any company to do a better job at a better price. Give these guys a shot, you will not be disappointed! I contacted OPS for a big job in my yard. I mean removing 3 stories worth of vines, removing overgrowth and leveling and removing an old tree. I put my request in at night and received a call from Jason the next day. He was very nice and professional and was able to come out for an estimate the next day. During the estimate, he knew exactly what it would take to get the job done and offered a fair price. Work was scheduled to be done 2 days later. That morning the crew arrived and were very polite. The crew lead, Winston was absolutely AMAZING! He was knowledgeable and super friendly. Winston and his crew did way more than what was expected. I would love to have them back for any future jobs. The best thing isn't the fact that all the people were wonderful, price was fair or that the job was done beyond expectation... but that the company is run by veterans. With my husband being a veteran, this is a very important thing for us. read more
