The train personnel were friendly on guiding us where to buy our tickets. We also bought thr metro card for the following day so we can tour the city again.

This station is actually really new, but then again the entire development is quite new, namely…read morebecause it used to be a racecourse, but well, now it isn't. Anyway, this station is basically what you would expect from a station in Adelaide, and that is nothing much at all. It basically has a shelter, and a decently sized one at that, and a screen that tells you when the next train is coming along. Fortunately though, it does happen to be located near the shops, and buses also stop nearby as well.

Honestly. I'm not too sure about this station, particularly since it seems to be located in the…read moremiddle of the parklands, and that it is so close to the city it is actually quicker to walk in as opposed to waiting for a train. Still, if you are catching at train out, or coming in from elsewhere, then it probably is quite simpler to catch the train from here than having to walk. However, the station itself is really nice, since it is one of the much older stations in Adelaide, though it is not actually being used as a station, but as a cafe (I believe).

Mind you, there really isn't all that much at this station, except, of course, for the beach, though you might notice that the platform for the original station is still at the other side of the road.

In fact, this station is really no different to the many other railway stations located in Adelaide, namely that there is a shelter, a platform, and a speaker that will tell you when the next train is coming, and basically, that is about it. However, the reason that this station gets the rating that it does is because there happens to be a tardis located out the front - no, not like the one out the front of Earl's Court Station in London, but rather it is just an electrical box that is painted to look like the Tardis. Still, it does make this station stand out from all the other stations in Adelaide.

Look, as a station in Adelaide, I wouldn't expect all that much from it, though it does have a decent bus interchange, and a snack bar as well, so I'll certainly be giving it that.

Mind you, like most of the stations in Adelaide, it isn't staffed, and there are no restrooms either. However, it is sort of an interchange station, namely because the line to Grange diverges at this point. Anyway, it is certainly better than some of the other stations that I have visited.

Honestly, this station is much nicer that what it used to be, and it does have a pretty decent…read moresized carpark as well. I guess that helps when it sort of feels as if it is in the middle of nowhere, though I should point out that one of the places does happen to be a school, and there is also an airport on the other side (though not a major one). However, I can see that the level crossing could cause a lot of delays, and honestly, they should really thing about getting rid of it at some stage.
