The bugs and snakes are gross. But it's by an area that has wildlife. The roads between the units is HORRIBLE! We were not warned and you can't tell by standing in the front looking down. It tore the bottom of our car. They moved us to another until but the road should be fixed. It's not safe. They themselves are super nice people. The one guys knows nothing about the office. I happened to be there on that day. The lady is very knowledgeable and fixed all the stuff that was wrong. Just know the other stuff and be prepared.

WARNING WARNING…read more WARNING I would give Freedom Storage zero stars if I could. My experience here was beyond unacceptable. My storage units -- along with numerous others -- were broken into, and somehow this all happened during the exact period when the cameras "failed." Convenient doesn't even begin to describe it. What makes this even more suspicious is that my units were not located together. Whoever did this knew exactly where to go. They would have needed to know the layout, the unit numbers, and the routes through the facility to avoid detection. This wasn't random. We're told this is a secure facility, but when I went to check on my units, I was able to access them during the time the cameras were supposedly down -- even though the magnetic lock system is supposed to prevent doors from opening when surveillance is offline. So not only did the cameras fail, but the backup security measures failed too. Let's recap: * Cameras were down * No backup footage available * Gate security didn't prevent anything * Magnetic locks didn't work as intended * Personal locks were useless (a locksmith even said they can be picked in seconds) At that point, calling this place "secure" is misleading. When everything fails at the same time, and the thefts appear targeted, it raises serious concerns about how this could happen without inside knowledge. To make matters worse, the system did not prorate my rent after the incident, and the property manager has not responded to employee emails regarding this issue in over 72 hours. And to address the likely response -- yes, you probably won't find me as a current tenant. That's because I moved out within 48 hours of discovering the theft. If you value your belongings, I would strongly reconsider storing them here. If that's how they treat the veterans in this Military community I think they should be put on the Black list for this community.

I asked the manager if she was aware and she said yes, they had a tenant in the 100's building who brought an infestation with him. The appropriate thing would have been to inform the tenants. I'm sure they are quick to reach out for payments, should be the same when there is an issue on their end. I cleared out and went down the street to Extra Space Storage.
