I ordered online and asked for the flowers to be delivered before noon, as I knew my mother-in-law would be leaving in the early afternoon. When 1:00 came around, I emailed the florist and asked if the arrangement had been sent out, and got a response full of excuses about how it takes longer to package the flowers in -30 weather. Meanwhile, the delivery driver got to my mother-in-law's building half an hour after she had left, somehow got into the secure building, and then called her as he was leaving to inform her that he had left the flowers on the floor outside her apartment. When she told him that was unacceptable because she wouldn't be back for two days, he told her "you're welcome" and hung up on her. She called the shop and spoke to the owner (Stephen, apparently) and he assured her that the driver would retrieve the flowers and they would be placed in the refrigerator in the shop and re-delivered when she was home in two days. When she got home, the flowers were still sitting in her hallway and were half-dead. Also, when she asked why the flowers hadn't been delivered in the morning, she was told that I should have called if I wanted them delivered at a specific time. There is no mention of this on the website. In summary, don't expect honesty, good manners or any sort of customer service from this florist. If you order online, don't bother filling in the "delivery instructions" box because they will not read it. The flowers themselves seem to have been decent quality when they were fresh, it's hard to tell.

The attractive grey haired lady didn't greet me with a smile so perhaps she was having a bad day before I entered. Suddenly - the email which I showed her on my phone with the appropriate code to redeem the gift - was laden with rules that she seemed to make up on the spot. 1.) She input my phone number and although my name, which I had not given her, came up she told me that she had no information about me or any orders ? *so my name isn't sufficient? 2.) I hadn't ordered at her location in the past year. Email didn't mention restrictions... other than 3.) This "Offer good through your birthday month"... suddenly became, according to her, BEFORE the end of the month, and since today was May 31 - that meant that YESTERDAY; May 30 was the last day this offer would be good... so my birthday being May 31 - offer not valid? And FINALLY 4.) "Oh... it must have come from a .com website". What the??? Such a lost opportunity to offer good customer service - such as; "Happy Birthday! Oh I see this a 'dot.com' website! That doesn't really apply to us, so feel free to unsubscribe so you don't get this next year... but in the meantime - let's get you my finest chocolate dipped fruit so you can celebrate in style!
