A very okay experience. Decided to try some Italian food to break up the constant Spanish food we had been having for every meal - it satisfied our need but the food and experience itself was very much just okay. Our greatest annoyance was it took us nearly 45 min to order our food. The menu is accessible via a QR code but no one in my party could use data as we were all traveling from the US. The waiter told us connect to the restaurant's Wi-Fi. We tried to do so for 30 min but none of us could connect to it due to very poor connection. We asked if there was a physical menu we could read since we couldn't access the menu via our phones and the waiter would tell us to be patient and left. After sitting for 40 min failing at every attempt to connect to their Wi-Fi, our waiter finally gave us a physical menu.

Lovely little Italian restaurant near the middle of everything. I had a great pasta fish with red wine followed by a great homemade tiramisu. Service was excellent and they worked well with my lack of an ability to speak Spanish. Highly recommended.

Oven Mozzarella Bar is a chain Italian restaurant in Madrid. We visited on a whim when we were hungry and searching for lunch. The interior environment is clean and simple, with a clear view of the cooking area and a chain-restaurant aesthetic. Service was prompt and friendly. Food arrived fresh. Menu selection was quite good. Food quality was fine but not amazing. Except that the Caprese Salad was great, and loved by two of our party. Everything was fine, but I would not return here - much better Italian places around.

Mushroom and truffle pappardelle (not that great)

Food: I got the popular "mushroom and truffle pappardelle". It kinda felt like I was eating food from a upscale Olive Garden. It clearly is a chain restaurant. The pasta itself was good but the sauce was mainly just cream, it lacked any flavor. The wine was cheap, but they served me cold red wine in a chilled glass. Atmosphere: very nice and cozy inside. Big restaurant with lots of seating. Service: The service was pretty good! The waiters were helpful and the food came out decently fast. Price: About $14 for a nice pasta dish. Overall: I was pretty disappointed by Oven, maybe I will go back to try their pizzas.

the only reason for any stars at all is the tastiness of the dish. i have to leave correction where it's needed and this was an absolutely terrible experience in terms of costumer service. two different waitresses saw my family and i during our stay. from the time we were seated to the time we left, they were both beyond rude, aggressive, sarcastic, condescending, etc. i could go on and on about how upset we were with the service they provided. will not be returning because of these two ladies.

The margarita pizza I order was just okay. It was kinda dry and could have used more sauce or something. The service was decent.

The reservation system is easy to use, and reach out to them if there does not appear to be any bookings available. The staff is friendly and helpful, even offering suggestions despite my very poor Spanish grammar when asking. The last two visits I've been fortunate to be seated next to the kitchen for a front row view of the magic. They have a wood-fired oven, and the artichokes may be one of the best things I have ever eaten. I normally order the grilled chicken breast and my bf had one of the best steaks of his life here. The bread is freshly baked and so, so good. While I have not tried any of the desserts, they bring out a dark chocolate truffle after the meal that is the perfect ending.

Service was friendly and efficient (and spoke English which helped overcome my very poor Spanish). The server recommended the cheesecake for desert, and I almost passed because, well, cheesecake, but holy hell, it was amazing. Oozing with fresh ricotta and served with a dose of Amaretto to pour over, it was simply spectacular. Met the chef and her team and they couldn't have been nicer. Easily one of our best meals in Madrid. Go!!

The hostess was kind enough to have us wait only 5 minutes and then place us in a table for two with an added chair to accommodate us. The service was very friendly. The restaurant is very pretty and the staff is welcoming. We arrived before our reservation and were seated. We had a party of 9 and they were able to give good service despite the large party size. We had some pizza for an appetizer and I had lasagna and my husband had spaghetti bologense . This is the first restaurant that didn't over salt the food and everything came out hot!! The bar serves wine and aperol spritz only so no cocktails to sip here. We did receive some limoncello at the end of the meal which was perfectly chilled. I would recommend this lovely spot in Madrid!

Well, last year they had this amazing Avocado Toast topped with poached eggs. It was fantastic and I came back this year on my latest visit to see if they still had it. Nope. I instead ordered Avocado Toast with the poached egg on top as a-la-carte. Well ... what came back to me this time was indeed a large flat piece of toast with a pile of smashed avocado on one side and a poached egg solo on the right side. Huh?? Didn't know there was gonna be THAT big of a change in the menu. Alas, if I ever find myself here again, I'm going to order things directly off the menu instead of trying to improvise like I did this time. :-/

We went for a local favorite, ham and cheese croquettas and a small chicken quesadilla. Beer and wine was fine. Fast service. Maybe too fast in case of the food. Croquettas were warm-ish. Crust was crispy, but inside was 99 percent cheese and bland. Maybe they are on a campaign to reduce food cost. Maybe a war on food cost. Food cost Inquisition? Chicken quesadillas were, to put it mildly, sad. Served at room temperature. Mushrooms pretending to be chicken. Texture implied they were made in the morning (maybe) and reheated at 8:30 pm ever so slightly. We left 80 percent of all the food on the plate when asking for the check. The waiter didn't flinch. Twenty-eight euros and maybe 28 minutes later, we were out the door. Maybe they serve some thing or things better from the over-achiever menu. However, this initial experience did not encourage us to go back to try anything else. No Bueno. Service: Fast Ambience: Yes
