Lots of changes over that period but what surprised me most recently was the latest menu. Not just the variety in the offerings, but to see the club now offer a "Signature" Shrimp Masala. The stuffed peppers were some of the best that I've ever had, the red sauce was perfect. The mussels were also delicious, although the texture was a little on the mushy side. Lastly, the prime rib with veggies were divine. I've never had vegetables that really blew me away, but both me and my GF were amazed. Overall, the prices were great, the drinks were on point, the service was top notch, and the food was superb. The Venango Valley Inn could go toe to toe with any restaurant in Pittsburgh. They come here YEARLY because it's so amazing and they're treated so well. Great burgers, salads, and beer selection at the eagle. Prices aren't bad at all. Very clean! Staff at the entire club are so friendly. My family (and GodMother's family) have been coming forever. Don't get discouraged by a review of someone with a bone to pick that's trying to virtue signal. I read the review outloud to my GodMother and she said "sounds like someone's starting themselves on fire then playing the victim".
