The church appears to have extensive facilities and staff volunteers for the kids' program and a vibrant program of activities for men, women, kids, seniors, etc. Easy to find with available parking. Huge main church room with great music amplification, lighting, and AV equipment. There's also a sort of fellowship hall/coffee room for post-service meet and greets, but we didn't stay for that part. Since this was a special presentation and service, I am not too aware of the specific focus or views of this church, pastor, and elders. This church has a lot of social outreach and youth programs. They partner with the Auburn food bank, Chinook Elementary Schools, The city Parks and Rec. department for food drives, and periodic work days and renovations. I spent a long time looking for a church that was God centered and rightly guided and frankly while no church is perfect, this church was perfect for us. We help out with sound, lights and projection on the odd Sunday or we sit in the second row, feel free to come and visit and find my husband and I. I would love to do church with you and introduce you to my pastors Andy, Brian and Abel, who are some of the best spiritual leaders I have had the pleasure of meeting. If you want a church that is perfect, has all the best people, only sings the songs you like and gives sermons that won't offend you or challenge you then this is not the place for you.... However, if you want a place to come, where you will be welcomed and loved regardless of where you are at in your walk with God; if you want a place that will challenge you spiritually to be better, that will give you a place to connect with other believers and to worship with people who want to be here and want to just do life together; then this is the place for you. We don't believe that programs do, nor vision casting/ brain washing, nor pharasaical works. Pastor Rosas seems to be a humble man, and the congregation as well. His wife helped with the children's service, where my 6yo son earned Bible bucks and played air hockey. Worship was not showy or loud. All the more reason to give glory to God and not the worship team. (We used to go to Mars Hill and we wish Marc and his family well. I learned a lot while I was there. This morning I sat behind someone I did not know who ended up being Casey Treat. I wondered why there was a bodyguard standing at the end of the row that Casey sat in and I was in the row right behind. Again, I didn't know who he was. When I left, I was meeting a friend for breakfast and all I could tell her was it seemed Like a show it seemed like bigger than life animation, but I did not feel the presence of Jesus in that room. I also watched Casey speak aloud over his son's sermon over and over and over which was so disrespectful. I also saw Casey on his phone, the entire time texting doing whatever he's doing, which tells me his heart was not close to where it should be in that congregation. There were flashy lights out in the lobby and I think the reason they ask for money so much is not just so much for Casey and his family rather that building is huge and must cost a ton of money to maintain. I'm not sure if this is true or not but I heard that this church is going to have to move due to the light rail being put in its place. If that's the case, I would say God is working miracles. I will not return to this church, but I can say that the people around me were very friendly that I was welcomed when I came in, but I felt that both Casey and the son who is ministering was auditioning for a role on ABC. That's not what I want. It might be what you want, but it's not for me. May God be with all of us and fill our hearts with Jesus. Blessings to everyone this holy week.
