Such a cute orchard! They offer various seasonal fruit pickings throughout the year and also have the fruits for sale at their store. In early summer, they offer cherry picking. Late summer, they have blueberries, peaches, apricots and many more! I have been here twice and enjoyed a lot both times. The staff is very friendly. Once you pick the fruits, you pay for them by weight. They have a small truck to take you to the farm and they keep coming back every 15 mins to pick you up too. They also have some cute farm animals. They have a lot of farm to table stuff for sale. We bought some pasta sauce from their farm grown peppers and it was delicious. We also tried their apple cider slushie. I will keep coming back! read more

This is not an alpaca farm even though it's listed some places as that. It's a nice orchard; however they have very few animals / chickens and in my opinion they are not very well cared for. The alpacas, sheep and goats had no shelter. The hay looked rotten and a few of the animals were limping. I called animal control after leaving. read more

For those that love cherries, there is no better place. They have sweet and two types of sour cherry available in fresh, or pitted and frozen, or juice, or concentrated juice. It comes in up to an 8 pound bucket. There is also pick your own. There are other produce, like peaches, apricots, blueberries, and apples, depending on the season. Ample parking, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff all make this a great destination. read more

The peaches were great. The blueberries fields were small and overpicked. Since we were going mainly for blueberries this was disappointing. This would be a great place for little kids with tractors, animals, corn maze, but it wasn't worth the $3pp fee to U-pick. Also, no donuts except on weekends. Great friendly orchard. Went with my husband, 2 adult daughters and 3 yr old granddaughter. All had a great time. They have different fruit for picking year round. We picked the early blueberries and people were also picking peaches. ( they also have cherries, apples, sunflowers and pumpkins throughout the year: My granddaughter loved the small animals and playground as well. A really cute low-key orchard. It's not as commercialized as some of the big ones, but the costs are lower too. A few friends and I spent about two hours here. Apple picking: $3 to enter, and then very reasonable prices per lb picked. They have many rows of trees and different signs and provide baskets and bags to pick. Farm animals: we loved that they provided food to feed them at $2/cup! We got to pet the sheep and lambs. They also have alpacas, chickens, and turkeys. A no frills U-PICK operation. Went here last fall with a large group and had no issue with keeping social distance. They had a ton of different types of apples. They also have a small area out front with goats and alpacas, that you can feed and a market where you can buy pre-picked apples and the usual fruit orchard fare. Nicely run u-pick orchard and farm store. Kids picked plums, peaches and pears. Actually 2 locations for picking and they give you directions to the other orchard area nearby. Alpaca, goats, ducks, sheep and chickens for the kids to see. We had a lovely time and it kept kids occupied for a bit. Fresh lemonade and corn dogs from a truck parked there, too. read more

This place is awesome especially if you have kids in the group. The staff is very friendly especially with the kids, unfortunately we couldn't go peach picking and they said the blueberry patch wasn't very full. There is an area for the kids to run around and play on. You can also feed the animals. They have turkeys, chicken, sheep, and alpacas. You can also do a wagon ride, they take you through different patches to see the drops. They said they do sunflower and corn mazes. We went to the cherry patchs and picked some cherries. Everyone had a good time. You can purchase different kinds of jams and also buy frozen pitted tart cherries to make pies etc.. I wish we were able to do more, but it's understandable that something didn't do well due to the harsh winters that passed. read more

This place was so awesome we visited twice during our week in South Haven. We were there in late August and picked plums, blueberries, and peaches. There were also some apples available to pick and sunflowers. They have a nice tractor to drive you to the far out orchards that they let use take an extra ride in because our 2 year old loved it so much. There's also goats, sheep, alpaca, chickens, and bunnies to pet/feed. There is a small playground on property and a store with some miscellaneous fresh produce and items. The staff was so friendly. Would HIGHLY recommend. read more

We had a great afternoon here. The corn maze is a teensy challenging but they have clues along the way to help you. The apple orchard is really full of variety and the signage is pretty :). The staff is very friendly and helpful, and there's a little hot dog stand and a small store that sells a few items and bagged apples. I highly recommend! read more

This orchard has some really great features. There was an option to pick your own apples for a cheaper price than they were selling in the store. We chose that options and they gave us good quality bags and a cart to pull our apples in. The orchard was nicely laid out and all the apple varieties were labeled, which made it easy to choose which types to pick. They also offer a petting zoo with goats, sheep, chickens, duck, and llamas. Inside the store (although it was more of a small pole barn) wasn't really clean and I didn't see any bathrooms. They did offer samples of their cider and many types of canned preserves. We had a good time here and I would go back. read more

It is located just north of South Haven, MI and not too far from the highway. There is a medium sized gravel parking lot in front of the big red barn with a small hen house and 2 portapotties to the side. You go inside and let the high school staff you're going to pick your own fruit (cherries, in my case). They ask whether you want the big bucket or small bucket. We chose the big bucket and they lined it. You can either walk, get a ride on a golf cart, or drive yourself to the orchard. We chose to drive since it was warm that day but it's not too far although you have to consider if you want to walk back with a 10 pound bucket of fruit amidst the heat. It's clearly marked as to where you have to go and parked near the other 2 cars that were already there. The cherry orchard is pretty small but each tree can produce a pretty healthy amount of harvest. There are a few smaller tart cherry trees and they are quite tart. Then there are the black cherry trees, which were definitely ripe and ready for picking. We were looking for the Rainier/Queen Anne cherries and found them behind the black cherry trees. Although there's plenty of cherries that can be picked while standing on the ground, there are plenty more when you get on the ladders they provide. They are 3 legged ladders with a pole for the back which is kind of unstable, especially since it rained the night before and the trees are slightly on a hill. The black cherries were pretty ripe so I ate a bunch while picking them. The Rainier were a little inconsistent so you had to select the right ones. The tart cherries are 75cents per pound for u pick while both the black and Rainier were $1.50 per pound, which is a great deal. Other orchards in the area do not have Rainier. Inside, they had already picked blueberries, tart cherries, black cherries ($2.75/lb.) and Rainier cherries ($3.25/lb.). Overall, it's a really good place to pick fruit and a place I would definitely go for future seasonal fruit. read more

My wife and I went here with our daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters to pick apples. This is a warm, friendly family run business and everyone we met was very helpful and personable. We had a great time picking apples and they are absolutely delicious - so firm, fresh and juicy right off the tree. We also bought some syrup (maple and maple/blueberry) as well as blueberry preserves - all of which are 100% natural and very tasty. All six of us had a truly fun and enjoyable time. read more

Wonderful family owned U-Pick farm. Apparently they have been farming for 5 generations! Not a bad drive from Chicago and well worth the trip. Went for an afternoon of cherry picking and it was a very pleasant experience. Plenty of ladders to reach the cherries high up! Staff was very kind and incredibly helpful. They also sell multiple types of fruit if you aren't in the mood to pick your own, along with jams and other treats. Very reasonable prices too. Kim and her family were so helpful and accommodating. Another orchard close by recommend we stop by Overhiser for some peaches. We were very surprised that they also had a small petting farm where my daughters (age 2 & 6) could feed the animals. After we visited with the animals we were picked up on a cart and brought to a part of the orchard to pick peaches which felt like a private tour. The peaches were good but there apple cider was soooo YUMMY!! We made an appointment to come back the next day and go fishing in their private pond/lake and boys in the family were so helpful and we caught a lot of fish. What a great experience!! read more

You get a plastic bag and let you know what is ready for picking and where to go. We picked gala apples and plums fresh from the tree. There's a lot of satisfaction in picking your own.
