I'm new to the area and still getting to know it. I was looking for fresh fruit and was hoping for a corner rainbow umbrella w a fruit stand under it. Unfortunately for me street fruit venders are not allowed. So I resorted to yelp for help. I'm pleased to know that there's fresh fruit 5 minutes away. Service was awesome and there was a fast turn around. Places inside was clean and looking over counter, it was spotless. I will be back for more. Thank you

My family and I have been purchasing from this place since they opened up and we buy almost every day, my father purchased a green juice this morning and it was bitter there was something not right with the drink and my father politely told him there was something going on and the owner who made him the drink got mad and defensive and in denial that something was wrong with the juice, we go there regularly so we knew something was not good specially since we are regulars.He than pursued on telling him to get out of his store. I have to admit my father did raise his voice after the owner was being rude and shouting at him, its disappointing that for something so small and long time customers he would act this way, even when he has made me the wrong drink I always tell him it's ok and I still take it, all he had to do was apologize and make another drink but he didn't do that . I guess he doesn't value his customers or his business.

Very unprofessional. Lied, threatened and cussed at me. The old man should be fired and no other job or company should hire him. He lacks people skills, professionalism and has poor work ethic. When confronted about my change he told me f you leave. Order was $12.50, I paid $16 leaving $3.50 for my change. He gave me 50 cent and said I'm trying to take his money. After explaining and arguing how he owed me, I got my refund and left. read more

The place has good juices. I ordered the large fruit tray. I paid 75. I feel like it was a bit pricey especially with some of the quality of the fruit not really being there. The strawberries went bad that same day and watermelon did not taste fresh but everything like the grapes, mangoes, jicama, orange and cantaloupe was good. read more

Poor service and I am Spanish speaking. I went yesterday but I throw out the juice I told the man it is too much ginger he ignored and just stand with attitude I paid enough to get some kind of accommodation to my request. I was really craving some fresh juice, and this place showed up on google search. It looked very dirty different so decided to try it. A lot of their menu is in Spanish, and I'm not familiar with it. Instead of just ordering something safe and usual, I wanted to find out more about the menu. I asked the girl and she wasn't interested in answering much. One item was cucumber but was in Spanish and she told me with an attitude that it's a cucumber as if I was supposed to know. I am sorry I don't speak Spanish, but I was interested in finding out more. The juice and the cucumber item I ordered was really good but I won't be back because of the unwelcoming behavior. She was very talkative and nice to the next person because they spoke the same language. I would suggest making everyone feel welcome. read more

Was in Montclair looking for a juice place outside of the mall. My phone gave me directions to this place and we were not let down! They have fresh juices, smoothies, snacks, and other things. I don't know why this place got bad reviews. Every time I come in I am welcomed with great hospitality! Never seen a roach there and the place is really clean. This place serve a variety of healthy beverages and snacks.... and they also have some not so healthy ones but are incredibly good! They are reasonably priced as well! I come for the green cleanse almost every day! $6.75 for the XL! Can't beat that price, and they do use gloves and wash their fruits. It's visible, you can literally stand behind the glass and watch them. read more

This is our go to for everything fruit and juice related. We love the Detox and Cleanse juices with extra ginger. Fruit salads are a very generous portions and reasonably priced. Corn in a cup reminds me of my childhood; still as good as ever I also love that it's a mom and pop shop and we get to support them. read more

This place is a lot better than a Michoacana. The wait isn't long and they have more variety like fresh fruit, sandwiches, bagels, smoothies, juices, salads, and protein to add to your smoothies. The bacon egg and cheese bagel is delicious. I also ordered a banana smoothie with chocolate protein and was amazing. read more

Such a simple yet yummy place! I love coming here whenever I'm in a rush and just want to get a quick tuna sandwich and shake. Great customer service as well! It seems like it's a family ran business. They are all so polite and friendly. Ovni Juice is also a great spot to visit on a hot sunny day as they have delicious looking refreshing summer snacks. I haven't had the chance to try any of the mouthwatering fruity snacks but they all look very delicious. They have a variety of delicious and nutritious options. This is my favorite juice/fruit/bionicos/esquite shop ever! I came to get a bionico with everything and I was simply blown away with the delicious fruits and granola and yogurt! I felt like I was back home in Guadalajara! Everything is delicious the fruit is fresh the environment is inviting! worst customer service Ive every seen, The "owner" is super rude, I asked him a question then he responds "No questions theres a menu", What do you mean no questions theres a menu. For the owner to act like that to customer I am not surprised why his store is slow. Also not wearing Gloves when touching food or making drinks, I would not reccomend this at all, I rather drive somewhere else and get my moneys worth. read more

Most other places you have to place an order ahead (like a day or two, or more--which defeats the purpose when you want your drink NOW). One thing I did notice though, I ordered one 24 oz celery juice here and it was $11.50 while at the West Covina location it was two of the same for $19. It's a small shop, clean, music is almost just as loud as West Covina's-- it's like Starbucks--- get in, take your $$ and get out. Great tactic. If it weren't for the noise pollution I might've given them a 5 star. Parking is limited in a small strip mall, free.

When I saw that there was an unknown extra 83 cents charge on my order and asked about it, the two workers side eyed each other in front of me while looking annoyed. It made me feel awful, so I just ended up paying extra for the drinks. Once I got my drinks, I was met with a stare when I said thank you. After leaving the cafe, I realized that my drinks were made with more than half with ice (photo attached below). For the amount of drink I received, the extra charge on my drinks, and the attitude of the workers, I am extremely disappointed with my experience here at The Spot Cafe. The outdoors section is covered by an awning and the indoor tea-sipping area has deep set couch-like chairs. Several events are hosted here like poetry readings, and it's lovely to see the community that shows up here. The selection of tea is very fun to shop through--there are different sections like medicinal to mood-based teas (I've uploaded a few that I found quirky and delightful). You can buy a packet of the tea leaves, or find the flavor you want and then tell the counter who'll brew up a cup for you (hot or cold). My gripe here (and why I removed a star) is that they don't explain what the notes/composition of the tea are, and when I asked the server, he said he didn't know either (which felt odd given how expansive this tea shop is). I recommend parking anywhere in the Claremont village and then walking over, as it's a little hidden and few spaces in the lot adjacent to it.

Came here during my lunch hour and I was not disappointed, I tried the caramel frappe and a smoothie that had I think pineapple, strawberry & banana and it was very good.
