Came here for the first time, been wanting to try this local spot since Ive heard people talk about how good the sandwiches are. For the price of this sandwich I thought it was okay, a little pricey for what it is. Deli sandwiches are usually this price but I felt that the sandwich was lacking and such little portion compared to other spots Ive been to. I would maybe try this again for the pasta but keep in mind a sandwich and lasagna and a dessert costs around $70 here. Inside was very nice. Staff was good but hard to get their attention since they go back and forth between this restaurant and the one next door, the bistro.

The service is excellent the food was amazing. So authentic. Perfect family owned Italian spot that I'm so glad to come across. Had the spaghetti and meatballs and was so delightful. My husband has the Tuna sandwich which he said was awesome .

Visited Owen's Italiano on a weeknight. Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The service, food, and wine made this a perfect impromptu date night. The price point is comparable to chain restaurants only you get a much higher quality dining experience. We loved our pasta dishes, Lasorda wine, and apple pie for dessert. The ambiance is causal and welcoming with family photo decor.

We've been to Owen's Bistro before, but this was our first time at Owen's Italiano. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was wonderful. We split a wedge salad and the soup du jour (a tomato bisque), which were both delicious. The bread and whipped butter were fantastic, and the porchetta entree with herb-roasted potatoes we shared was ample and flavorful. We'd like to stop by for lunch next!

So the name of this place is Secret Sammich but listed on Yelp as Owen's Italiano. Owen's Bistro owns this location. Wife and I came for lunch. Nice casual atmosphere. Quiet place in Chino by the Library. Parking on the street and the back. The menu changes as they bring in more selection so it may be different from time to time. They do have daily specials so make sure you check that. When you order a sandwich, you can get fries or salad or any of their deli sides which are pasta salad and two different potato salad. Very nice win selections. For lunch the wife and I ordered the Grandma Mary's meatball sub. Wife order fries with her sandwich and I opted for the pasta salad. Today's soup is chicken and vegetables. I love soup and I almost ordered one but I'm glad I held out because I was full. Don't let the size of the sandwich fool you, it may look small but it was mighty. The service was great too. We will go back and try the other sandwich. Today they added a new sandwich with pastrami. That's on my lunch order on my next trip. Would have given them a 5 stars but only gave them 4 because of their drinks. They only have bottled drinks, no fountain drinks so no refills.

I LOVE small, family owned businesses like Secret Sammich ! This location is somewhat hidden as the name of the restaurant is not on the outside but rather a deli sign - it gives it a cool, speakeasy vibe and is totally a hidden gem (that used to be a liquor store I might add)! Upon entering you'll see a nice selection of Italian pastas, sauces and wines that you can purchase after dining! I think the food here helps you to feel inspired so it's fun to look at the items and ponder what you could make at home ! I tried several items and the pork chop with apple chutney was my favorite but I can't leave this review without mentioning the pizza because WOW ! Everything is so fresh and you can tell the chef puts his heart into his food ! Service was very friendly and helpful with all my questions. They transition at night to Owen's Italiano so you'll find dinner items after 4:30! Food was delicious , I think this is a great spot for a double date to enjoy good food, vino and conversation!

We were seated relatively quickly. Ysa had the meatball sub with a side salad. I had the double wagyu smash burger with regular fries. The food was delicious as one can expect here!

Walked in last friday during lunch to order a sandwich to go. Waited 10min to take my order. Then 20 min go by no sandwich. Then apparently the owner walks in and greets and meets a few ppl while I wait another 15 min for an italiano sandwich and fries. 45 MIN & THEN THE SANDWICH HAD NO MEAT!!! Got charged the full expensive price of 17 bucks and tip. What a joke. I did attempt to fix the sandwich with some spanish chorizo and ham. I bet their Alfredo is greasy american trash too.

Expected more from this place based on the rating. Should have read the review further. Not a real Italian deli place, plus the Italian job sandwiches we had were underwhelming. Wouldn't mind paying the high price for the sandwiches but although the meat quality is better than the chain sandwich places, it's not the same as other Italian sandwich places we've been, like Claro's and Real Italian Deli. Overall just ok, but don't plan to go back, too pricey for what you get. Wait, the fries and potato salad were great. The service we received was good too.

Our favorite sandwich stop. Close to home and open for lunch and dinner most days. What makes this place special is the food is freshly made to order. Not mass produced and warmed up. We love to come in for the different weekly specials. The sandwiches never miss and the pasta dishes will take you back to grandmas house. They have many items in their mini grocery area, hand selected wines and fresh made pastas, salads and desserts.

I have had this bookmarked for some time and we decided to give it a try 2/17. I can see how parking may be challenging during the week bit there are many nearby lots if you don't find street parking. Restaurant is quaint and for a Saturday night they were pretty busy. My fellow Yelpers have raves about their sandwiches so that's exactly what we ordered and shared. We split the meatball sandwich- which is a definite must try for its amazing flavors, marinara sauce crisp roll. We also shared the Gabagool which may be my favorite with the spicy capicolla, soft roll and dressing. We save room for dessert- and highly recommend their canoli. Definitely a must try if you're in the area!

The portion was also pretty small given the price of $19. -Chicken Parmigiana with penne pasta: The chicken was cooked and seasoned well with melted mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce on top. The penne pasta was not my favorite. Most of the penna was overcooked and mushy while a few pieces were hard and seemingly undercooked. Overall, if the pasta was better, I'd say this dish was a fair value at $29. -Cacio de pepe: Initially, when it came out, we noticed that the sauce was very watery and not emulsified nearly enough. At first taste, we both noticed that it tasted very different from what we would expect. The smell was quite rancid and very off-putting (not the normal funky parm cheese smell). We let the server know and she had the pasta remade which did not make much of a difference. The sauce was still pretty watery and not creamy, and the flavor was very off from what we would expect this dish to taste like. We sent this dish back and did not request a new one this time. For reference, this dish was $25. Service was friendly and our server was apologetic about the pasta and took it off our bill so that was fine. It was just a bit slow, especially when we got the check, we put our credit card in the book and stood it up with the card sticking out so it was easily visible. Our server walked by our table 3-4 times without even glancing over to see if we were ready. Overall, 2.5 stars rounded up to 3 stars for the friendly service.

It was melt in your mouth good. However, the one item I still dream about, that is not on their menu, but should be, was their flat bread pizza with pineapple. I could have eaten just that alone. Exceptional Birthday Dinner at Tutti Mangia…read more My wife and I took my mother-in-law to Tutti Mangia Italian Chophouse for her birthday dinner, and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting, making it perfect for a special occasion. We arrived right at opening and were seated immediately without any wait. Our server, Ella, was an absolute delight. She was knowledgeable about the menu, welcoming from the moment we sat down, and attentive throughout the evening without ever being intrusive. We started with the mussels, a favorite dish for my wife and me, and they were exceptional. The broth was so flavorful that we ended up ordering extra bread just to soak up every last bit of the sauce. For my entrée, I ordered the Linguini Fini with artisan pasta, large shrimp, sea scallops, tomatoes, red onions, and garlic cream sauce. The portion was generous, and the flavors were outstanding. It was one of those dishes where every bite was as good as the first, and I happily cleaned my plate. My wife ordered the Long Bone Pork Chop, featuring Beeler's Duroc pork chop, seasonal mostarda, and creamy corn polenta. She had enjoyed it on a previous visit, and it was just as delicious this time around. The pork was cooked perfectly, and the accompaniments complemented it beautifully. My mother-in-law chose the Angus Prime Rib, a Sunday-only special served with au jus, horseradish cream, scalloped potatoes, and charred broccolini. I was lucky enough to try a bite, and it was honestly one of the best prime ribs I've ever tasted tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Between the exceptional service, elegant atmosphere, and incredible food, this was a memorable celebration. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the enticing options on the menu. Highly recommended for both special occasions and a great night out.
