I was not rushed, my questions were answered honestly, and I was able to sit and "play" with a couple of the models. I had questions regarding Baby Lock and all were answered without pressure to buy from them vs "the other store". We visited the other store, and within 10 minutes, I knew I'd be going back to Hi Fashion. My husband and I went back to purchase a new Baby Lock. We pulled up and went in, telling one of the ladies we're back to buy the Meridian2! As we were wrapping up the sale, a woman came in and she was told "I'm sorry but we're closed." She mentioned she was needing one spool of thread. They were kind and helped her also. We thought they closed at 3pm, but they closed at 2. Never once were we made to feel rushed. I have the machine I love from a store I will be shopping at for years to come!

Upstairs they have several large looks where they weave cloth that is cut and sewn into different items. For example, you can purchase oven mitts, napkins, table cloths, cosmetic bags, etc. Prices are what you would expect for local handmade goods. A napkin is about $7-9 and a dishcloth will run you about $18. The quality is very good. The rest of the store is filled with consignment goods from local artists.

I found a fabric I wanted, I went to go get it cut. the lady stood there and I told her I would like 1 1/2 yards, she just looked at me and said I needed a number so I looked around and no one else there I then took a number she then proceeded to cut my fabric I then said here you said you needed a number. ok after fabric was cut she then said she would watch me until I checked out. are you kidding me, I just gave her a disgusted look. got my daughter and bought the fabric and left. no thanks not going back. last time I was there the sales people were marginal now after this experience no more.

I asked for non-wool sock yarn which can be difficult to find, but they carried many different brands of fabulous yarn. There were more beautiful yarns I wanted, but I had to stop myself. They have a cool loyalty program that I was happy to join. I hope I can visit for one of their classes one day.
