They took over the Pur hair salon location near the Chinese buffet and Mildenberger bakery. Basically, Newcomer means that you pay the same high price like any other Scholz location, but your stylist is in training and has very little experience cutting hair. The upside is that you get an appointment easily and on short notice. The thing is just that there was no warning that you're part of a training session. And yes, even though my short haircut is easy, you could tell that a trainee did it. For most people, it's not a good option. If you need a just ok cut urgently, maybe it's worth it.

This is a very professional establishment that has an uptown feel to it. Marion is a professional stylist that took the time to discuss what I wanted. She offered her advise which I agreed with and it made for a better overall experience. I felt right at home as a gentleman at this nicely done salon. I was offered a cappuccino, given a scalp massage with a mint fragrance, a wash, the cut, rinse and then a quick styling.
