While in the store, the owner did not hold back on her opinion about those who came here from out of state. They are destroying Oregon, she said. According to her, they destroyed Bend, Oregon and now they are destroying John Day. With strangers browsing the store, she didn't care. This woman was holding a conversation with two other like-minded sheeples, nodding their heads in support of the garbage coming from this narrow-minded woman behind the counter. If I found something I thought I would buy, I would take a pass. She is not going to make any money from me. I hope the townspeople support each other's business enough to keep her afloat.

The prices are comparable to anything I find online, which was surprising to me. My prescriptions are always prepared in a timely manner and explained as needed. The Pharmacist again very friendly and courteous and professional listen to to me and took me to a shelf in the front shop and showed me a good product which she explained to me how to use and then returned to the Pharmacy. All in all a very positive uplifting experience, my problem was solved in a very courteous, friendly professional way, which reflects on the way the pharmacy was must've been run I. I highly recommend visiting lens Pharmacy if you have any health or Pharmacy related needs when in John Bend. The front shop of the Pharmacy is huge and well stocked, I'm certain that anything you might need either Pharmacy related or more you'll find in the store. My experience with a Pharmacist tells me you'll find all you need prescription wise or more at the pharmacy as well. It looked very neat from the outside And very impressive. It was like being in a big box Pharmacy in the cities, but with the an added personal service and Care and friendliness that I have yet to experience at any of the other pharmacies. The value of this experience in dollars and in effort was definitely excellent. The price of the medication that I bought was also very reasonable.

There are about 5 restaurant bars and about 5 hotels and a scattering of bed and breakfasts. I think people visit for fly fishing. This is manly a bookstore, also selling model trains, wagon wheels and vintage vinyl disks. Didn't try the coffee, but they have those slushy sugary ice drinks, cappuccino and mango-orange; on my visit, the perfect summer cooler. And free WiFi. Enough said.
