A small shop this may be but it doesn't take a lot of space to show selection of kits that could be made up either by a beginner or experienced Madeleine maker. Prices range from £10 to just over £100 there are a few models on display of items that have been made up by an experienced model builder. This shop is different & well worth a visit for that unusual gift.

First impressions, I am glad to see the owner has taken the same enthusiasm they had from a previous employment at a model shop nearby which is no longer. Anyway, as usual i was met with bright cheerful faces welcoming me into the shop. The shop has not long opened so yes the stock seemed limited and a few shelves seemed more empty than others but hey, the guy has just opened. Now yes, I may seem biased with this review having met the owner previously. However, as mentioned earlier this person has a lot of knowledge and enthusiam to part of every customer and would even have offered me a coffee while i was browsing!!!!!!.....except he had ran out of milk.....boooo! I did get offered a lollipop though but had to decline :( The building itself still has that new paint smell and is all clean and tidy. A variety of kits are in stock but I am assured this will get bigger. I always find a kit I want ( as I WANT THEM ALL!!).....ahem, I didn't find the paticular kits I wanted today but as mentioned I found A kit i wanted. So this place is shaping up to be pretty awesome and I plan on doing the bulk of my modelling shop from here. Prices do seem competitive and yes you will probably find the kit cheaper online but it's a local business I want to see remain for times to come!

Its a big shop full of creative stuff catering for all types of crafts and hobbies…read more The one complaint might be that although they touch on many different crafts, they dont specialise too much in any. Probably ok if you dont specialise and are looking to try new things, but perhaps not catering for those past the beginners stage. Another drawback is that as they are located in the edge of town retail park, they are not that easy to reach unles you have a car.

It's so fun to wander the neighborhoods wherever you are visiting to stumble across local businesses that are also dedicated to their particular craft, love, hobby, etc. I bought several of the cardboard models for stocking stuffers and had to resist buying a VW van one for fun because the suitcase is full of treats already. Wonderful helpful staff as well make this shop an absolute must stop and buy!

The window display looked great and the shop had a trendy vintage feel about, similar to the chic charity shops you'd find on Glasgow's Byres Road. Each time I walked past, I felt like the shop was teasing me with all it's second-hand vintage goodies. I could look but I couldn't touch... ....Until the shop opened and I could finally fulfill my thrifty desire. Wow, wow, wow! The place is huge and filled with lovely things. Velvet pencil skirt. Fringed flapper mini. Green safari jacket. Everything was lovely and beautiful and so many pieces caught my eye. Impressive considering the shop had only just opened! With more than a handful of garments, I popped to the changing room. The changing room is GIANT! - More like a dressing room with a little chair and quirky decorations. With such roomy changing facilities, you might as well make the most of them! Dance, skip, jump. Give yourself a personal fashion show! Why not?! You've certainly got the spacial capacity and you'll be looking dapper in your new clothes! Seriously though, you will not be struggling for space in there. Staff were really very friendly. The manager of the Byres Road CHAS was in for the afternoon and insisted on holding the changing room curtain closed for me, ensuring that there wasn't a gap whilst I changed! - There's nothing worse than that dreaded gap, making for the quickest change in the history of quick-changes. So, I was in no rush and had plenty of time to make my choices. (Don't worry, I overheard them say that they're getting some velcro to sort out the gap. Gap no more!) I left chuffed with an oversized houndstooth coat (£9.99!) and a pearl-style necklace. CHAS may be the newest charity shop in town but it's definitely my favourite so far! Step aside, charity shops of Stirling. - There's a new kid in town!
