Enter the magical world of the Music Box…read more ...if you can fit! This has to be one of the world's smallest shops. And they manage to pack it all in! They have a great selection of guitars and other instruments, both 2nd hand and new. I have bought all my guitars from there. They know what they are talking about for sure. Tons of fun accessories and anything you might desire. A busy but friendly service.

It seems to be struggling to compete…read morewith smarter looking shopfronts like Sony in the Westgate centre, but actually there aren't many places this end of town selling TVs. It specialises in flat-screen and plasma/LCD TVs, and has a room where you can compare. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to help, but I still think it's best to read impartial reviews and to go in knowing what you're looking for. Not the sort of shop you'd really visit unless you're after a TV, but if you are, it's definitely worth popping into.

They will…read moreoften do you a deal on cables too as margins are higher with those but its unlikely you'll be able to do a deal on TV and other items. They do offer Price Match though. They have recently relocated to this new site in West Way. It is a bigger store which is positive. They also advertise that there is parking which the previous store did not have. Yes there is parkinghoweverwe tried using it but everyone was double and even triple parked so it isn't very convenient. We turned in but then immediately had to reverse out into the very busy Botley Rd. One of the staff members had to ask customers in the store who owned a particular car to ask them to move so another customer could get out. We parked in nearby Wickes and walked it was much easier. It is useful but I would suggest that it is restricted to people picking up items only.

It still has those neon cardboard star price tags and a window full of retro electronic gadgets. The interior is crammed full of useful things - they even cover the ceiling. It can be hard to find what you're looking for, especially if you're a bit technologically challenged like me, but the staff are really friendly and helpful, and can point you in the right direction. They do key-cutting (not car keys) for a good price and are great for those things you always forget about needing to buy, like batteries, light bulbs and cleaning products. It's really great to support a historic, traditional family shop, and this has most things you could need, so give them a go before heading off to Boswells.

We had a look ourselves and managed to fix it with a new charger cable. It has been working perfectly ever since. Other people would have just paid £600 and still had the same problem. My dad has recently used them too and they failed to find the whole problem until my dad suggested they check the graphics card which they then did and added another £250 to the bill. My gut says not to trust these people considering they seem to know very little about faulty computers.

They have also provided me with excellent after sales help for which I am grateful. I'd like to commend Gary for his good and readily-offered assistance but without knowing their names others in the shop were just as professional and kind too.
