It was not crispy and was batter covered rice with a small bland topping. Service is usually good, but was not as nice as usual on this visit. Our first young man was super pleasant and helpful, but his shift ended. The young lady who took over was in a big hurry to sample food and chat with her coworkers. She started clearing our plates without asking and put a dirty plate on top of out Patatas Bravas while we were eating them! Mind you, there was no one waiting for our seats. A hiccup, but not cool at the prices charged. We'll try to avoid her station next time.

The more surprising thing is that they don't have beers on display anywhere in their fridges. I had to ask them if they actually sold beer (I thought the aforementioned big ass Corona sign was a good... sign). They listed a bunch of traditional Mexican beers (Corona, Sol, Victoria, Tecate, etc.). I asked if they sold cases, and they said no. Ended up taking 10 tall boy cans of Tecate in a single plastic bag. Had to cradle that shit for two blocks. At least it was cheap (I think under 20 pesos each).

This store has such an enormous selection it definitely took us some time to figure it out. In the end, we decided on the Rocca de Forti quite wine, as well as, a bottle of the Moet & Chandon champagne. We also got two boxes of San Andrés coco bares. We could have kept going but I think that we have more than enough locations for four people. This store is quite nice, and they even have an adjoining restaurant. They also have very helpful staff ready to help you find the perfect bottle of wine, mezcal, or any other liquor you might be looking for.
