The reason I went here is that they can create custom jewellery to your specifications, and most importantly work to your budget. They were able to show me a good selection of items they had hand made for other customers and took me through the process of how they would make it. They have a few stories they throw in for good measures, which did make the whole process a little less painful. They provided me with good advice on my requirements and were able to give me a very good price for the item I wanted. They have several photos on the wall of what I can only suggest are their celebrity customers, which is not a bad thing I guess. Do not worry though they do have many items which are what I would call normal prices alongside other items which, for my personal taste, are far to shiny. If you like jewellery whether that be simple or that which is more on the bling side of things then this is the shop for you. As much as I love the boyfriend (now fiance), and as good as he is with the gift-buying, an engagement ring is a pretty big gift, and I just wanted to be able to at least hint at what I hoped for, since I had a few specifics in mind. I knew I didn't want a diamond, I knew I wanted the stone to be set in the band (I had visions of a stone snagging on every surface in my house). . . I also wanted to make sure the materials used for my ring were ethically sourced. Stephen Einhorn fit the bill perfectly. As soon as I saw the Times Square ring, I was in love. When I saw it with a pink sapphire, I was head over heels. And now, many months later, I am happy to say that it is the most attractive part of my dry, winter-ravaged hands. Sigh. To note, the fiance said that it was exactly what he'd had in mind before I showed it to him. So I just did the legwork. Of course I can't really comment on the customer service or ordering process or anything like that. But I still find myself checking out the website and drooling over the unique, punk-rock-y jewelery. Someday when I have money, I'll come back to SE for gifts. . . mostly for myself.
