After hearing a few people rave about the place and reading some of the reviews I ventured in for a spot of Saturday lunch. It was fairly busy without being manic, we were seated quickly and our waitress explained the concept. (It's pretty rudimentary: Get a plate, help yourself, repeat ad nauseum) I found the food to be variable, some of the dishes were on par with what I would expect from a takeaway specialising in that particular type of cuisine whereas others tasted either bland or just plain bizarre compared with my expectation. The food containers seemed to be getting restocked fairly frequently and only one of the dishes I tried seemed like it may have been sitting on the hot plate a little too long. The selection was fairly average for this type of place. It's billed as Pan Asian, when I was there this translated to a selection of chinese and indian dishes with a couple of mexican offerings along with chips, pizza, onion rings and all that jazz. Desserts looked like some kind of diabetic coma inducing sugarfest which I chose to ignore, plenty of cake, jelly and ice cream to whet your appetite. All told the place is OK, but only OK. If I were nearby I would grab a bite to eat here over a fast food joint but if you want a decent sit down eating experience there are plenty of better options open to you within walking distance. Cost us about £12/head for lunch buffet and bottomless soft drink.

Definitely worth a visit. Staff are professional and informative. Great environment. And a range of…read moretasty food that caters to everyone. My friend and I absolutely plan on returning.

It started with Tim L. who created a…read morethread regarding what kind of restaurant would we open and one thing lead to another or should I say one Thalie A. led to a Josy A. who led to an Ela T. and here we are talking about buffets of all types good and bad. I'll be honest the more involve I got in to this conversation the more I had a craving for a Chinese buffet, so what did I do, I hid until the sun came down and out I went in search for my closet Chinese buffet fix. Yes just like that a simple conversation through yelp led me to a table with a fork in my hands within hours. Josy A. said I should be disappointed with the quality of the food I find which was sound advise to be honest as I was out to satisfy "the eternal hunger" that was a upon me. The second I've entered this place and the first time was not good it was bad but this time was different I had "the eternal hunger" which will last forever until my craving was satisfied for Chinese. I'd almost forgot this place is not Chinese it's a selection of pan Asia dishes ranging from Thai to Indian , which also had a barbecue station for grilled meet and veg as well as a man bread station that cooked the nan bread fresh in front if you. For £15 this is a good buffet purely because it was cheaper than the amount discussed in our thread but also the vast selection of food on offer. I feel my tip was accurate when I said indulge and overload, as I am now suffering from a pan Asia food coma onslaught all because I took Tim L's thread a little too far.

The owner and manager is still involved in the daily running of the restaurant and is often the friendly welcoming host that greets you at the door. This is not your run of the mill Chinese restaurant, everything about the place, screams class. They have proper linen, good quality crockery and cutlery. The staff are extremely smart and professional. They will even teach novices, how to use chop sticks Cutlery is available. The environment has recently had a make-over and is clean and well decorated. The oriental theme is very gently done. Although, they can seat approx 100+ people at any given time, the restaurant has several smaller areas making for a more intimate experience, you can ask for to be seated in these areas when you book. (Booking not always necessary, but to avoid disappointment) The menu holds no surprises, however, the delivery is wonderful mouthwatering, delicious food, prepared with care, skill and knowledge. This is high-end eating. The bill is not a surprise either - a 3 course meal for 2, with drinks cost on average £40-£50. And they do specials! 2-4-1 on the set menu. The facilities are clean and well presented. Unfortunately, although the restaurant is largely, wheelchair accessible, the facilities are not. I can't BIG UP this place enough!

Unfortunately it's not based on the appalling service we received as a party of 4 on 3rd February 2018`. The restaurant was busy, which we knew at the time we booked but our booking WAS taken so we should have expected there would be sufficient staff to cope. But, from the time we arrived at 7.30 the service for this 'eat as much as you like' buffet was practically non-existent. By 8.30 we had only just been given our starters, by 9 we had to call the waiter over to order the duck pancakes. Once finished our used plates were just left on the table. At the same time as we had ordered the duck we also ordered 4 main dishes which did not arrive until 9.45, too late to think about ordering anything else. At £21.95 per person this is the worst value meal we've ever had. The bill arrived and annoyingly had a service charge included - admittedly this had then been deducted with a note saying 'sincere apologies'. I complained at the time and was offered a free bottle of house wine to take away with me but since we had only been drinking beers and soft drinks this offer seemed incongruous to say the least. We were left thoroughly embarrassed as we had suggested the Kar Ling Kwong to our friends. I later wrote twice to the proprietor assuming I might receive an apology but was not even given the courtesy of a response. We are a large family of 10 adults who previously visited the restaurant often but have decided we will not be returning in the future as a restaurant which does not value its customers does not deserve their money. What a shame!
