The work was impeccable--they even worked through Memorial Day to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. Joshua takes immense pride in his work and it shows. It was supposed to take 2 weeks. It took him 3 months. I would not recommend him. I don't think he's ready to start his business yet. The one loyal worker that worked with him. Martise was very nice. Josh was rude to him at times mortise work very hard. Josh would go off for hours saying that he was getting supplies and would come back. Hours later, only to sit down to get on his phone. Some of the work he did. I was happy with at first but towards the end, he got sloppy things that I asked them to do. He wanted to do his way, and that's what the customer wanted. I paid him a lot of money, never late when he asked for money, he said in his contract. He wanted the money when jot was completed. When he got money before the job was completed. And I'm still not happy. I tried to be patient with him. Knowing that things do come up things do happen, but he took advantage of my kindness. He left electrical wires exposed in the rain and told me that it would be okay, really. The amount of money that I paid him. I should have been satisfied. I think not.

I was hoping and giving Hicks Paving the opportunity to fix the driveway the roofers had damaged (however now telling me they didnt) they installed last June for me. Today I made yet another call to them, makes 5 in the last 4 weeks, to just give me an estimate on the repair. I know the work cannot be done until warmer weather. That is why I'm only looking for an estimate on what it will cost for it to be repaired. This call I finally got to talk to someone beyond the receptionist, who happens to be the owner's wife. Spoke with the owner and he informed me that Hicks Paving is closed until April. That they do not answer calls or work until then. I questioned him on answering the phone the last five times he informed me it was his home phone number. However every time I call the receptionist answers Hicks Paving. So I'm not sure if they are closed why they are still answering the phone and why it is such a big effort for them to just come out and give me an estimate on the repairs. He informed me of the blizzards that we have had these past couple days I responded that I have informed him with phone calls for the last 4 weeks many of those days reaching 50 to 60 degrees plus. I am now going to call a paver that is actually interested in doing business with me. Do the fact that my driveway is less than a year old it is under contract warranty yet he does not seem to feel that that is a concern of his. I'm very disappointed in the customer service I am receiving from him especially since after getting my driveway done i recommended thrm to others.
