His guys came by and were able to rewire a disconnected junction box in the damned ceiling by wiring a new lead from downstairs creating another leg off of the washer circuit and thereby restoring power to 4 receptacles. Now, I'm self-employed, in business for myself for over 40 years, and I wasn't born yesterday. Most everyone in business itemizes deductions on their businesss tax returns. I'd be very surprised/shocked if they don't deduct vehicle expenses, including fuel, repairs, leases etc. So I find it absolutely over the top that they tack on gas expenses incurred as part of doing regular business. talk about "nickel & diming". They are very smug about it as well.
