I called to discuss warranty or return options for a $500 fuel tank/pump for an XT2 cub cadet mower that died within 4 months of install that I purchased with them. Justin was rude, acted like he was the only one who understands mechanics and insisted I fried the pump. He stated Cub Cadet would not warranty him and further how does he know it was installed correctly. To the Owner... if your selling parts, don't you think you should trust your customers? Did not even adjust self propel. I did it and it was simple when I viewed you tube Instructions. You use a 10 mm wrench and take the slack out of the cable, retighten the (2)10mm nuts. read more

Refused to ship engine for agreed price. Demanded that I pay an additioan $25 shipping cost.

Called 4 other places and P&P had what I needed. It was a 45 minute drive but well worth it to be able to finish the engine I was rebuilding. read more

I took my push mower to p&p small engines The other day to have it looked at and they told Me it would cost me 35.00 to have looked at and i didnt have it on my card as i am on social security and on limit income.They told that i could pay it when i came to plck it up if i didnt get it fixed but couldnt have it back if i didnt retrive it.They had it for a week or so and they called me and said it was done.I went tpick it up and they charged me 55.00.When i got it home i tryed to start it but wouldnt start i called them and told it wouldnt start and the shaft was bent and it would cost more to fix it then to bay a new one.Well thought i would have to get a new one but thought i.would check it out.well the shaft wasnt bent but the magneto was unpluged . I purchased an electric clutch from P and P small engines that failed within a week of installation, because a pin was not properly machine pressed into the body, and wiggled loose. After following their return instructions, i got a return authorization from Kaylee via email after sending them pictures of the clutch on 10/26/2021. USPS Tracking info indicated it was delivered 3 days later but for almost a year they pretended that they couldn't find the clutch. They strung me along, month after month and had me repeat the process over with Mackenzie. Then after lying, saying they threw it out, the Owner of the company quickly grabs the phone to shut her up, and said that they had the part the whole time but, they aren't going to replace anything so I can stop wasting their time, then he hangs up on me. If Integrity is something you value in a Mechanic then please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. If you need a part for your mower, tractor or saw, understand if you have a problem, you are on your own....Don't be fooled!!! read more

I will add to the previous reviews. I wish I had read them first. #1 they pick up your equipment and you don't hear a peep from them for over a week 2. You call and they tell you they are a week out in repairs. 3. You get a text 10days after having your equipment and tell you your damage. That's what to expect. But there's more. . $250 to service my lawn tracker and $75 pickup and delivery charge. My weed eater they tore apart and told me the pully was chewed up. Was going to cost more to repair it they a new one would cost. I get home and my weed eater is laying in my driveway in pieces! After further investigation I find out that my model is still under warranty through Troy built. This business is listed as an authorized repair place. I call them and Jeff tells me no they are not and goes into how busy they are and they don't do warranty repair because it doesn't pay anything. Well my friends someday soon that money flow is going to run out and you will wish you had a warranty to repair. Do not go to this place. read more

Last year I posted a couple of warnings about this business and how you should be very aware of their shady business practices. I took a riding mower in for a checkup and they charged me $100 fort a 5 minute review and then wanted another $540 for repair. I ordered the parts online for about $40 and did the repair myself. They planned a giant rip off. I suggest if you need your gas powered lawn equipment repaired, take it somewhere else unless you are willing to throw your money away. This place is rip-0ff. I took in my lawn mower for a belt issue, they charged me $140, and did some very questionable work that I did not authorize them to do. I picked it up, and got it home and it wouldn't even work right. I took it back for them to fix again, and then they tried to tell me it was working fine when I brought it back in. I asked the owner for $$ back, and he argued that I didn't know how to work the mower right.. what a joke, owner lost my business. read more

Spring tune up for a push mower was $152... What a rip off. Price included cleaned block & cooling fins which was not done. Bill also included a wash which was not done. Called when I got home and they said must have forgot to wash it. Then why was I billed for it? Had to take it back sop they could wash the oil they spilled on the deck. What else on the bill was not done? The tune up does not include spark plug, air filter, oil, etc even though base price is $100. Never going back! read more
