Well, one day I was away from the house and an insurance agent from First Financial Insurance Group by the name of Amit Panchal sweet-talked my mother into switching her policies from Gerber Life to First Financial. Keep in mind that my mother had been paying on her Gerber Life policies for three years, so she was invested in those policies. Well, after convincing my mom that she should have never agreed to it, which she told me all she did was talk to the agent, he ended up switching her policies. He continued to sweet talk me and my mom that nothing would change that it was cheaper for her to do so and that nothing would really change. After a few weeks, I convinced my mom to call back Gerber and have her policies re-instated. Check this out, First Financial Insurance Group called Gerber and canceled out my mom's insurance policies. We ended up getting her Gerber Life Insurance policy reinstated and tried, effortlessly, in vain, to get First Financial Insurance to stop taking money out of mom's direct deposit account, which they said they would stop and refund her money. Well, she ended up passing away and First Financial continued taking money out of my mom's account. Be aware that from the time this started and the time we demanded that First Financial stop taking money out of mom's account, it had been three months before she passed away. They continued taking money out of my mom's account even after she passed away. At this point, we filed a claim on her life insurance policy. This is what they did: they canceled her life insurance policy, and refunded the premiums she paid on the policy. If anyone has any policies with this company, DO NOT CONTINUE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They find any loophole they can to get out of paying out on any policies you have with them. Horrible company to do business with and they never return your phone calls. I would never ever recommend this company for any kind of insurance. Only purchase from an insurance agent or company you are familiar with such as Gerber Life, State Farm, etc.
