Our waiter had so much talk in his presentation and then his service was embarrassing how poor it was. He was completely disorganized couldn't handle the patio on a Friday night. Drinks took a while. He was running in and out forgetting things for all his tables and never got it together. I felt bad for him in an endless struggle to live up to his server speak. Now to the food We ordered the spare ribs and eggrolls and the spareribs came out cold and the eggrolls were undercooked. When we got the spare the glaze tasted like it was all preservatives and chemicals not very tasty. Like it was our of a bag warmed up in a pot. We are the bull go gi beef and I've never seen a present in the way it was as a piece of flat me that was scored and we had to tear it with our fingers since we were not given a knife and then it came with a gelatinous dipping sauce which also tasted like it came out of a bottle or plastic bag. We were in the fried rice our selection was pork they came with rice and some over crispy beef that was in it. The weather never came back so we could tell him we had the wrong order. We ordered an appetizer of some spicy shrimp that had this milky glaze on it they tasted like it came from a jar as well. The wine list is subpar and I'm sure it's not hard to find better ones at the same price point. Bottom line definitely not a place I would go back to. read more

Nov. 2nd and found what looks like a moldy piece of chicken and watercress as well as what look to be pieces of shrimp shell in an unusual color of blue. A snowy day is why I ordered pickup and always had good experiences in StL so I ordered. When I arrived to the designated door for pickup; was hustled around like other delivery drivers. The hostess questioned my authenticity for my order even though I had my confirmation until I insisted she look at it. Nearly returning it to kitchen. We hadn't been to this restaurant in a couple of years and tried it out again today. This location is very clean and organized and the food was prepared perfectly. The only issue we had was with our service. Our waiter took forever to do everything, we were at our table for about 10 minutes before he came over to introduce himself. It took about 25 minutes for him to come over and see if we wanted drink refills and another 15 minutes after we asked for our check/boxes. The other thing I noticed was that none of the staff ever smiled, every time I looked at one of the waiters they look so mad lol Also, I forgot how expensive it is here. We spent $75 on lunch for 2 people (1 appetizer, 2 meals & drinks). If the portions were larger, it wouldn't be that bad but for the sizes we got it was way to expensive! read more

I had a coupon from the door to door fundraisers for a local high school so I had to recoup some of my money. The place is nice, the service was good, our waiter came by several times to refill waters and see if we were in need. The food was okay, we had lettuce wraps to start and they were good although I don't know why they don't remove the leaf no one eats( you know the one ). I ordered honey crisp chicken with brown rice and both were good. I gave 3 stars only because I think the food is overpriced. This has plummeted to one of the worst restaurants you could pick. After all the interruption of Covid, I was on a date with my wife, and wanted our experience to be special. We went to a movie first, and we enjoyed that. Our plan was to go to Chang's after, for a good dinner, and we were looking forward to that, as we had many good dinners there previously. Upon entering, the hostess had her back to us, and didn't turn around to acknowledge us. Like for more than 5 minutes. Another couple had arrived before us, and they hadn't been acknowledged either. I looked at the people in dining room area in front of us, with one couple wrapping up, and the people at other four tables looking irritated -- there was no water on their tables so apparently they hadn't been greeted by their server at all. With no staff in sight there, I looked over to the bar area, seeing the bartender taking orders at the bar, and 2 servers and a busboy working the tables there. With food on the tables and some more being delivered, the bar area looked more promising. I caught the hostess's attention, and, in response to her "how many" question, asked her if service would be quicker in the bar. She said it would, and indicated that we could sit anywhere there. We chose a table, and the bartender pulled out two menus, but cleaned them and put them away, avoiding eye contact. Then one of the servers walked by, avoiding eye contact. Then the other walked up to the table next to us, apparently to answer a question regarding the bill, and was joined by the first server there, but neither server would glance towards us, even though both of the servers were facing us from less than 8 feet away. As they finished with that table, I politely hailed them, but they turned away as if we were not there. Meanwhile the bartender and the busboy continued to not make eye contact. At that point, having spent more than 10 minutes waiting for any of the staff there to acknowledge us, we gave up, got up, and walked out, without displaying any crusty looks, upset visage or crossness. So the crappy service was all on the staff. We were disappointed that the restaurant had fallen to such poor standards, and perplexed that the manager would tolerate such poor service from the staff. There are so many good restaurant choices out there and, yes, so many good Chinese restaurant choices out there. No need for any customer to put up with this. So to heck with P.F. Changs. read more

If you're going to splurge, this is the place to do it! My wife and I came here for date night and were absolutely happy when we left. You can easily spend over $100 just between 2 people as we did, but it was worth every penny. Our server Raj was awesome and the food was absolutely to die for. For an appetizer we ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, a definite MUST HAVE. I ordered the Wok-fired filet mignon and she ordered King Pao chicken, both were absolutely amazing! The Wok-fired filet is pretty pricey but very worth it. If you're in the mood for drinks, set your meal off with a peach whiskey or a mai tai! The ONLY negative that I would have to say is the hostess had a very bad attitude, and even downright nasty to not only me and my wife, but several other customers that were waiting. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and welcoming. This restaurant is semi connected to the mall and only requires a short walk. The menu is expansive so you'll find a dish for everyone. Overall, the food was what you expect from your typical Asian chain. The egg drop soup was good but nothing to write home about. It could have used some more flavor. The crab Rangoon was delicious and was a winner for us. The lo mein was fine but the noodles were a bit over done and the flavor depth was lacking. All the Ingredients here are really fresh. You can count on PF changs to deliver quality ingredients. The most negative part of our lunch was the Brussels sprouts as they were saturated in a very acidic sauce. We took a bite and immediately told our waitress. She was very polite and the manager came over to apologize. They said it's a common complaint. She comped one of our appetizers which was pleasant. I would go back because it's a nice sit down restaurant At the mall with some better quality food then you'd get over at the Chinese spot in the food court. read more

So bad. Last night- Saturday night, finally got our table after the two hostesses working the front changed the wait time from 45 minutes to 1 hour. We watched them turn away at least 8 tables saying there was an hour long wait. Our whole wait there were a minimum of six dirty open tables visible that stayed dirty and empty the whole time we were there. The whole restaurant was filthy. The floors- the bathroom stall had toilet paper rolls sitting in the floor. We ordered our food and it took an hour to come out. The waiter made no mention as to why it was taking so long and once it was out he never asked how it was- I am guessing he knew not to ask because it was awful. My $30 salmon entree was so over cooked and flavorless. Everything was bad. PF Changs is off our list of restaurants to go to after that horrible experience. read more

You can't go wrong with this fountain of delicious Asian cuisine. The ambiance is a step above "casual," so visit in your jeans, or with your prom date. Do not miss your opportunity to chow down on their lettuce wrap appetizer. On this occasion, I ate the Sweet and Sour Chicken, a large portion. The chicken "pops" with a hint of Ginger. The chicken was cooked to "my" perfection. Great overall taste for a very popular Asian dish. We had the honor of being served by Connor. He was on top of service during our entire visit. Last night was my wife's 40th birthday, so I wanted to give her a special date night. We used to go to PF Chang's all the time, and hadn't been there for a while. (It was her birthday, so it was her choice.) We were told it would be a 30 min wait. It was 45. We were initially seated in a very high traffic and crowded table for four. We looked across the floor and saw a table for two next to the window. We asked to sit there instead. The waiter obliged, but gave my wife a dirty look when she asked. When we sat at our table, there was a family with small children with a plate and a giant mess on the floor. The NASCAR cleanup pit crew came in and cleaned it up, but one of the staff was clearly upset about it, angrily throwing silverware and broken pieces of plates into the basin. (She kind of made a scene.) Waitress arrives and introduces herself as our server. We ask for glasses of water while we decide on what we will order. Water arrives. We order a Sapporo, a Moscow Mule, Mongolian Potstickers, Dragon Sushi Rolls, Lettuce Wraps, and Shrimp Pad Thai. Mongolian Potstickers come out and I start eating them. My wife takes a drink of her water and starts choking. I stand up and start hitting her back between her shoulders. She coughs up a chunk of something that was hard to identify. At first I thought it was clear/white plastic rolled into a 3/4" long piece of trash. After further inspection, it appears to be the root of a vegetable or some organic material. It was hard, white and kind of sharp on one end. We tell the waitress and she doesn't even acknowledge it as a problem. She brings my wife a new glass of water. We were shocked by her disregard. Food comes out and it's ok. Wife likes her sushi rolls. My pad Thai has waaay too much lemon or lime juice in it, and also half the plate is covered in a pile of unchopped 6-8" long raw green onions. Completely inedible! I'd rather have one of those chopped up than 20 of them unchopped and piled on my plate. Also the lettuce for the wraps was brown, and didn't taste fresh. While we are eating, one of the waitstaff accidentally dropped an entire tray of food on the floor (at the table next to us) and sent food and broken plates flying all over. The NASCAR clean up crew was on it, but after mopping they left a caution sign which several of the waitstaff continued to trip over, and we almost witnessed another major accident. These guys were tripping over each other all night. Making it a very stressful and chaotic environment! Anyway, after our food came, we waited forever for the waitress to come back and make sure everything was ok. So long in fact, that we just asked for the check and to-go boxes. She brings out the bill. It's $76. I put a $100 bill in the folder and hand it to her. She opens it and glances and asks me if I want change. I say yes. When she brings it back, it's a $20 bill and four $1's. (In my opinion, this is on purpose to manipulate me into paying a minimum 27% tip.) I wait forever for her to come back and then wave her back over and ask her to break my $20. She says "of course" but rolls her eyes at me. (I left her $15 (20%), even though I feel I'm being very gracious in doing so.) This morning, I'm out $90 for a meal for two, and an experience that I wish I could do over. To top it off, when we left, there were a couple of kitchen staff standing on the side of the building smoking cigarettes, which just confirmed how indifferent management and staff are to the customer experience. Sadly, I'd rather go to Chic-Fil-A than PF Chang's! Where food quality and customer service are actually a priority, no matter how busy the restaurant is. read more

EXPENSIVE! Sure, the food is good. But $15+ a plate good? Yeah... not so much. Plus, I remember years ago when P.F. Chang's restaurants had lower lighting and at least somewhat Asian sounding music to go with the decorations. But somewhere along the line they turned up the lights and switched the music over to some generic upbeat evelator type stuff. The atmosphere in here feels all disjointed now, like they can't decide if they are running an Asian restaurant or an American daycare center that happens to serve Asian food. Had dinner (Friday @ 5:30ish) with family - ranging from 2 yo grand babe to 88 yo mother (6 total). Had a range of entrees that were ALL delicious - but who doesn't love to start with crispy green beans, crab wontons and chicken lettuce wraps? So now that we have established that reservation/checkin process as well as the food were stellar! Let's jump to service - which was really a train wreck. Server spilled my husband's Malbec down the stem of the glass and onto table as she was pouring it, and then actually said "well it was just a teaspoon or so", I had a sav blanc and she brought a cab sav, when she brought the sav blanc back out and started to pour it, she poured it again down the stem into my phone and said "guess it's not my night for pouring". Really?????? We had specifically asked that she space our apps and entrees out so we had time to enjoy the appetizers and you guessed it, it all landed on the table within 5 minutes of receiving the appetizers. Water service was very limited and had to reach out to a very helpful busser to refill water. When we were ready to cash out server came back to box food and yup you guessed it - she had trouble getting the food actually into containers without spilling over edges and into tray. Everything was SO salty. So very salty that I had to pour some water in my soup to be able to tolerate it. Food was pretty poor quality too aside from the salt overload. We got a bottle of Alamos Malbec and shared an order of chicken lettuce wraps, which are always great. I could drink a gallon of their lettuce wrap dipping sauce. Please don't go here if you have an infant. We checked in online and we're told it was a 20 minute wait. We had 5 guests and an infant so we selected 6 people when checking in. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were told it would be "a little longer" because we need a high chair. There was no option to indicate this online. After waiting an additional 30 minutes and watching multiple tables open up and sit empty we asked again why we weren't being seated. We were told there were only a couple tables in the entire restaurant where they could place a high chair. They would not put a high chair on the end of any booth - because it was in a walk way. Of course there was still plenty of room. I then pointed to a corner booth where the high chair wouldn't be in a walk way. No, that one is also not approved for a high chair. After an additional 10 minutes we left, walked across to gordon biers h where there was no wait and like every single restaurant i have ever been to seated us at a booth and put a high chair at the end. read more

Then, the combo fried rice egg was raw. Slimy, mucous raw egg. The rice was under cooked on all dishes and the won ton sooo tastes like top ramen. The wonton wrappers were way too thick. Two different nearby tables ordered something with a dome that was filled with smoke. When the dome was lifted a huge plume of disgusting smoke filled the restaurant. It smelled like you had been sitting at a campfire for days. It was all we could smell and taste for a good ten minutes.
