My husband and I went out to lunch in Columbia on Friday. Decided to go to PF Chang since we hadn't been to one in a long time. We walked in and there was no one at the hostess stand. Not many customers either. We stood there for a couple of minutes and no one approached us. Then, a woman who worked there came walking over to the hostess stand and threw a napkin in the trashcan and turned and walked away. She never even acknowledged us or told anyone else that someone was waiting. That was when we decided to leave and go next-door to the Walrus Oyster Bar. We walked in and were greeted immediately. Most of the food here is pretty good and service has improved on my recent visits. Plenty of dining space and good servers make the inside pleasant to sit in. The fried rice is very bland and flavorless. However the other items like Mongolian beef are quite tasty. Good for take away also. Be sure to sign up for the app. read more

I love P.F.Changs! It was a little busy for a Sunday, but we were seated pretty quickly. We did have to wait a while to get service, but once we did the service was smooth. We ordered two appetizers and two meals. I don't think and extra $4.50 for fried rice is cool, but the food it delicious so I pay! It's also $4 for fountain drinks, I guess inflation is gonna make me drink water! Overall PF Changs always hits the spot and has a nice vibe with good service. We came to this place for dinner on a sat evening. I loved my sangria. I got the Singapore street noodles as my main course. Unfortunately I had to send it back. It was way too salty. Service was good, a lot of bad reviews so I was watching everything that was happening. The food was tasty, rice was alittle dry. The drinks were spot on, a heavy pour. Waiter was nice and kind, always keeping the drink filled and checking in on us, she packed our left overs and split our check into four and was very kind about it all. The one thing I would say is the smell of the place, I think it is the carpet, smells like mold. Carpet probably needs a deep deep clean or replacement. Over all good food and service! read more

I just had a great time with the manager Z on 8/4/23 I got to the place around 5:00 on a friday was slightly packed with a rush , my server was great although there was a flaw in our order .Z stepped up and corrected it and made sure that we enjoyed our meal. The food is good, but it's no better than Pei Wei. So save some money and go there instead! The benefits to coming here are table/waiter service and a nicer ambience. I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to grab lunch with my hubby and mom here before we shopped for her LoveSac sectional in Columbia Mall. I should've picked Season's 52. Oh well, lesson learned. We've frequent this place before COVID and sometimes choose to get take out, but what we ordered today was just disgusting and disappointing. Let's start with the good and work our way to the bad lol. The hot & sour soup is consistently yummy here, has the right amount of sourness, and oh that silken tofu that just melts in your mouth. We always get the bowl that feeds 2 - 3 people (hungry people lol). For some reason they changed how it's served. They use to bring it out in a big white bowl with a cover so it could stay hot longer, but now they just bring it out in a big black bowl. The server used to also pour the soup in each individual bowls and comes out with wonton chips. These did not. I would have asked the waiter, but he was so busy he never came back and by the time he did we already finished the soup. Mongolian beef was also pretty consistent, can't go wrong with it along with the lettuce wraps. My mom LOVES Peking duck so she decided to order it. I warned her and told her it may not be like the authentic one she eats at Chinese restaurants, but she insisted. Im sorry but who serves dried, Peking duck with marinated bean sprouts, spring onions, carrots, and ROTI?! It tasted nothing like a traditional Peking duck served with just thin "pancakes," spring onions and hoisin sauce. The flavor was off too, def will not be ordering again. The orange chicken was so off balanced in terms of flavor. It was so sour and you could taste a lot of ginger in it. The combination fried rice was ok. I'm used to eating sticky, aromatic Jasmin white rice. It could use a little more soy sauce or maybe even a little fish sauce wouldn't hurt. I always love coming to this PF Changs, but if you want a table, MAKE A RESERVATION!!! This place gets packed, especially the evening times in the weekends. A reservation is necessary if you want a timely seating, but it's not required. You can walk in and ask for a table but you may have to wait a while. Parking is also very hectic. This location is attached to a mall as well as surrounded by lots of restaurants. The parking lot out front is always crazy busy, and it doesn't help that some lanes were blocked off for outdoor seating because of covid. So traffic flow is not organized. There is a parking deck behind the location, you should park there. The food there never disappoints. I will always recommend the dynamite shrimp and the chili and garlic green beans. They are just so delicious! The Sesame chicken is also just a delicious meal. You get plenty of food with each plate so expect some take away bins. If you're looking for a fun alcoholic drink, try the red dragon. It's a little theatrical and fun to receive. Overall, I recommend coming here. Delicious foods, reliably tastey - you know what you're going to get. It gets very busy, so make a reservation at least a day beforehand on open table. Decided to give this location one more try after having one of the worst experiences ever due to customer service during our last visit. I guess we were hoping this location made some staffing changes and I believe they have. This experience was much better with regard to customer service mainly due to Christopher. He was great. We started out with the chili garlic green beans, Kung Pao Dragon Roll and gluten free Lettuce Wraps. The green beans were awesome. They've made a change on the dragon rolls and I'm not sure it's for the better. For main courses we had Chang's spicy chicken gluten free, the Mandarin Chicken Salad and Kung Pao Chicken. The Spicy and Kung Pao dishes were excellent. However the chicken in the salad tasted like reheated and it was chewy. Overall rating this outing as 3 stars for a little improvement but the dishes just need to get a bit better. But happy with the service and direction they are now heading. read more

Believe it or not this was my time dining at PF Chang . I have always listened when people talked about it over the years and I finally got my foot in there. Ambiance 9/10 Service 9/10 Drinks were good my sister never complained. Now lets talk about the food. Presentation was good and it all looked delicious until i started eating. Went here with my wife and our baby for a "quick lunch". Ive always found the food to be sub-par, but my wife enjoys it so it was for her. The hostess took us to our table very quickly...and thats where the story ends. We sat at the table for 25 minutes. At no point did a waiter approach us, and there were a few walking around. At the 20 minute mark, the hostess who sat us walked past and questioned if anyone had come to help us. We let her know "not yet" and she said she would speak to someone. After another 5 minutes, we called it quits. Never even going to consider this place again. The staff needs better training. If the workload is too heavy, hire more people. It the people arent doing their job, which clearly the waiters are NOT, then train or manage out the door. read more

I have not been to a P.F. Chang's in a couple years but we went last night. Place was pretty calm (it was a Tuesday). The restaurant is clean so that's good. We were greeted quickly and the waiter was friendly offering honest suggestions. Honesty is a great quality for servers. So the menu at P.F. Chang's has got this odd paradigm of can't decide whether it wants to be just another chain restaurant that offers Asian-ish choices or an upscale Asian restaurant that offers something unique. I honestly couldn't figure out what I wanted at first because the menu was so unimaginative. For the prices I could have hit up any number of local spots and paid half. The food took forever to come out (35 minutes). I have no problem waiting for made to order dishes... But it better taste good. The food was just meh, I can't really make it any better than it was. I ordered chicken fried rice and a sushi roll. I've had better fried rice and I've DEFINITELY had better sushi (see other reviews). Once upon a time I had one of the best mixed drinks I had all year in 2018 at the Baltimore Inner Harbor PFC. End of the day it was the service that made any difference at all to the positive. And the food running even left something to be desired by stopping at people's tables while bringing out food. Look, I get it people stop you. Please don't wave other people's food under strangers faces all the way down the line and place it on their tables along the way. It can lead to cross contamination. It was a meh meal, high priced, nice server, clean restaurant, ok beverage. I wouldn't just attribute this to a Tuesday night either. It's an honest review of the good and bad. The good news is these are easy fixes but until they figure out their menu, I'd say search elsewhere for Asian food. read more
