Great server, good food, long ticket times. We have been here a few times for celebrations and my family is not the easiest group to serve we order a lot and talk a lot. We've always had a good time but our server today Brando (I think that was his name- according to the hostess) is the reason I am finally writing a review. Brando was so patient and never made us feel rushed even when we needed time to think. His hospitality felt very genuine and we were so grateful. The food was good, and they were very accommodating to my food sensitivity. The ticket times (wait for food) were higher than usual but it was also a holiday and we're not bothered by it personally- just something to keep in mind. We'll be back again. :) read more

Upon making a reservation myself & hubby were seated promptly but not asked if we had a reservation as the couple in front of us were. Hostess was not very welcoming either. We waited while the couple in front of us who were sat literally not even 5 seconds before us had their water brought to them, drinks ordered, and delivered. Next the table that came after us also had there water and drink order taken. By this time approximately 15 minutes had passed & not 1 person offered to bring us water or had taken our order. Not impressed! Portions were small considering the price. The Spicy Chicken was not spicy and the chicken was very gummy. Lettuce wraps were lettuce boats. Nothing memorable and something we would not order again. This meal was delivered by DoorDash and although it came late the quality was not that good. We will stick with Chef K. First time here, quite disappointed. I cannot believe the quality of food that came out of that kitchen, subpar at best. I ordered the mongolian beef, as it is their most popular. As you can see in the picture it looked totally depressing. For almost $30 entree (paid extra for fried rice), it didn't even reach half of the take out container. The meat was tough and over cooked, the sauce was a little salty but ok. My wife ordered the pad thai (sauce on the side). In all honesty, their version of this popular thai dish missed the mark taste-wise, its missing the tamarind and peanutty flavor. On a positive note, noodle was done aldente. I cannot comment on service because we did not dine in. Just looking in when I picked up the food, the ambience looked nice and dark inside, but overall, the food was depressing. when they tell you they are so busy they are overwhelmed, means mismanagement. After being seated, we were told an hour wait for food. At a classy restaurant you would be offered a free horder or glass of wine. not here, they use that to sell you appetizers and drinks. I ordered a martini, they asked if I wanted a single or double? Asked for a double they only poured a single , but charged more. The shrimp dish was covered with coating to hide the small shrimps they were using. The didn't even remove the tails. I do like PF Changs, value is on point imo, ambiance is so so, service is great. My only complaint is the bathrooms need attention, come on, it's not that difficult to clean them EVERYDAY. Honestly, the manager should do it, no one should enter be above cleaning the shitters. We went on a holiday Mother's Day no food for 1 and a 1/2 hours !!! When we said we were leaving the food came out the portions were small and food mediocre. Terribly run business the kitchen was busy with take out orders and not accommodating the patrons in the restaurant. It wasn't the servers fault it was management and the kitchen. This dish and the others we received looked like someone's leftovers and the portions were shockingly small and just super messy. Will never order delivery from them again. Great customer service provided by Alicia and the team from start to finish were fantastic! The Manager, I think Bradley?, greeted us and sat us promptly. Even the food runner Eric was great. I can tell that customer service was definitely a focus from the staff. We took advantage of the lunch special which has a starter, starch and a dish from a select menu. We also ordered the crispy green beans separately which were outstanding! The portions were pretty good, especially the hot and sour soup which was tasty. We selected white rice and upgraded to the lo mein noodles and had the spicy shrimp and Mongolian beef which were ok. The Mongolian beef was a tad too salty and sauce was watery rather than thick. After lavender picking in Sage, we stopped at P.F. Chang's for a late lunch with gluten-free options--always a safe bet for my friend with a gluten allergy. Had not been here in years but brought Australian guests here as it used to be a favorite. So disappointed. My drink was an Asian pear mojito that'd I'd had in the past but this time was very weak. Couldn't taste anything, like soda water. Guest had the coconut one which was much better. Lettuce wraps were skimpier, side noodles (lomein) were lacking flavor, the chopped beef in the Mongolian beef was dry and unlike any other I've tried elsewhere. Should've complained but didn't. Food is not consistently fresh for pick up. I ordered one thing and it upset my stomach all night long. It was old food with egg in it. If you are not careful you can put someone in the hospital. The is also a lack of paying attention when you ask if your order is ready and told "no" but another worker walks up and you can see it was there all along. read more

Came in to use our gift card & we had not been here before. This location is on the edge of the promenade mall, so it's a nice spot. We were greeted right away when we walked in and seated quickly too. I really liked how spacious the restaurant is and the privacy screens at each table too. I didn't catch our servers name but he was nice, friendly and polite. We ordered the crispy honey chicken and the Mongolian beef add shrimp. We also go the shrimp dumplings. My favorite was the Mongolian beef dish; so flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend it. The shrimp dumplings were my second favorite, the crispy honey chicken was okay. The pomegranate lemonade was pretty good too and it has unlimited refills which is nice. They don't do military discount here unfortunately, so FYI. Overall great place. read more

Went on a Monday evening to celebrate my daughter's birthday. No wait. Great service. Our server was excellent. Our drinks came quickly and were delicious. The food came timely. However, my teriyaki chicken was so chewy and hard. The sauce for the crispy green beans was way too spicy. I wish there was a choice. None offered. Had a reservation for 6:15. Got there at 6:06 and was told we had to wait 30 minutes. The wait turned to an hour before we were seated. Yes it was Valentine's Day, but had a reservation. They were still having people without reservation on a waitlist and were also seating them. The kitchen got backlogged and our meal was even further delayed. The bar window was up and the restaurant was 54F...cold. Bar ran out of smoker lids and martini glasses, so the martini was served in a wine glass...not the same thing. Well the wife and I decided to have a date night at p.f. James, we're going on 22 years. What a wonderful evening, we started out with Eden! Tommy which was delicious. We have visited various PF Changs over the years, including their original location in Scottsdale. The food is very well prepared and is uniformly tasty. I know that may not sound as appealing to some, but when we come here, it is exactly what we are looking for... no surprises, just tasty, good asian inspired cuisine. Recently, we were invited to celebrate a friend's birthday here. They made reservations and everything was perfect, as expected. The decor is tasteful (photo) and we found our servers worked together as a team. Nice. We started with some appetizers of Gyoza dumplings (photos), Spicy Tuna Roll, Tempura Calamari and Edamame. We each took turns tasting the mini dishes and enjoyed them thoroughly. Our entrées ran the gamut too, from Kung Pal this, to Mongolian that. The six of us enjoyed everything we tasted. Now how authentic was the meal? Well that all depends upon your perspective. One of our friends was from mainland China and she found it all very good, if not somewhat amusing. From a five down to a two. Food was lukewarm and not very good. Tasted like something you would get at a movie theater. In fact I think movie theater food might be better. I'm not being sarcastic. Drinks were great! Service was nice but they were Understaffed. So that was really annoying and I think they would get more business if they had enough weight staff or figured out a better system. So it was not a great date experience so I don't think we will be coming back unless we see an improvement. I would say this is more of them trying to get more profit and cut on quality. read more

We always eat chicken and broccoli, well....today they fried it instead on tossing it with sauce. Our server decided we didn't need silverware so I had to get us some from a table nearby. We asked her for chili paste. She forgot. This was not a terrible experience, I'm just tired of asking for the bare minimum like good food, silverware, and drinks and not receiving it. Haven't been to a PF Chang's in about 10 years... the food and drinks were superb. The customer service was on point. The only thing i'm kinda like ehhh about is how, the place is a tad dirty. One of the seats at the entrance customers use while they wait to be seated, is completely filthy... like nasty looking, and the menus were dirty as well. Like what is going on, a lot of people consider this somewhat of a high end restaurant, not a hole in the wall place, so I think they could definitely try to be a bitt more presentable. read more

Updating this review because my family and I frequent this place and it was greatly improved since my last review post. We love the fried rice, lo mein, crispy honey chicken and Mongolian beef. My son absolutely loves the steamed pork dumplings in the mild spicy sauce. He prefers it over an actual dumpling restaurant! I rated 4 stars because sometimes the crispy honey chicken is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's not as crispy and takes bland, but the other day it was perfectly crispy and flavorful. P.F. always is a hit with my family. This day we celebrated a birthday party with a family of 15+ people. We called ahead and they had no problems setting up the party. The service was very good and accommodating. We ordered so much food it seemed like it never stopped being delivered. A huge favorite were the wet and dry ribs, we ordered four plates. And let me tell you the Smokey smell was SO good! Turns out it was Japanese cedar, who knew!? Another hit was the Pad Thai noodles and the lettuce wraps. Even the kids ate the lettuce. Sweet and sour soup was very flavorful and filling. Lastly, check out the deserts. A huge slice of cheesecake that could serve two and a monstrous chocolate cake that easily served six people. This once great ...er Magnificent restaurant might just be going through the motions though, it's the energy that's faded away and the menu is somewhat dumbed down. I dined opening night in Scottsdale at the very first PF Chang's and both of the men mentioned above were in house making sure both the front and back of the house delivered a restaurant experience like no other. It was obviously a huge success. The fam took my nephew out to celebrate his 26th birthday. He is a bog Asian food lover so we selected P.F. Changs as we had already been to Shoguns. Well, no one was really impressed. My nephee ordered Kung Pao hicken & said it was basic. Not spicey, nothing special. My "asian" cesaer salad was ok. The salmon on top of it waz half of a filleg. I get iy prices on everything are high. My salad waz beyond drenched with dressing which just killed it for me. Lost my appetite. I asked the server to bring me another salad with the dressing on the side. When I made the reservation, I selected "celebration; " nothing special for our table was done. Even after telling the server, we were celwbrating nephew's birthday, nada! I asked the server for a container for my salad to take home. She brings out 3 containers for chinese fpod. When I asked her if I was supposed to put my salad in the chimese food container she said "yes, but I can bring you a plastic container if ypu like." Common sense would have been to bring me a plastic container for the salad without me asking. We ordered the individual size desserts, key lime pie & red velvet cake. They lookblike miniature cakes. Super small, but I guess thats all you get for $6.58. Despite the subpar food & below standard service, we still tipped the server $20. We will not return to P.F. THE FOODS | Traditional Chinese cuisine with flavors of other Asian cuisines such as sushi, pad Thai, and Korean glass noodles. Their desserts swing more on the American side such as New York style cheesecake, chocolate cake, and apple pie. For this visit, we grabbed our chopsticks and family-styled on... - Chang's Lettuce Wraps | Savory minced chicken on top of crispy rice sticks and a stack of iceberg lettuce leaves. Place a scoop full of chicken and rice sticks into a lettuce cup leaf, dip into their little side sauce, and feel the wrap vibes. Delicious and highly recommend. - Shishito Peppers | Charred Japanese peppers covered in Mongolian sauce. The peppers are surprisingly mild and semi-crunchy. Squeeze the half lemon for a little added acidity. - Chang's Spicy Chicken | Battered chicken with sweet & spicy chili sauce and green onions. Another great dish, bursting with flavor; savory is an understatement! This should be on your list of dishes to try. - Mongolian Beef | Sweet soy glazed, tender beef with notes of garlic and long stemmed green onion. The dish is simple, but goes a long way. Street parking in front of the restaurant is also available, but those spots are typically taken.
