Very small but cute port of Capri. You are dropped off by ferry and to actually get to the upper city, you must take the funicolare (small tram) to the top. The views are lovely and the people are nice. Everyone speaks English at the port at all the restaurant, cafes, and shops. read more

Pulling into the port of Capri, a majestic view of the sheer cliffs rising out of the water greets you. The marina isn't large though quite picturesque, and is where all the ferries drop off and pick up passengers to/from Naples, Sorrento, and the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Looking around, there are a number of ticket stands for ferries and boat tours lining the pier, especially ones bringing visitors to the Blue Grotto, a cave grotto known for its hyper blue water on the northeastern corner of the island. About a dozen or so restaurants and cafes are located along the waterfront, followed by numerous residential and commercial properties that are scattered on the terraced hillside going up the mountain. The centers of Capri and Anacapri aren't close to the port, so you can opt to reach Capri via car, bus or funicular, then make plans to visit Anacapri via car. read more

We took the large vehicle ferry to beautiful Capri from Naples. Embarking and disembarking were easy. There were seats indoors & outside. Masks were not required outdoors. There was a large expensive snack bar. There were not enough restrooms, lines for both men & women were long. read more
