All you hear when you walk in is the bustle of the grill and employees getting orders in which makes you know what's coming has got to be good. This place never disappoints. I ordered the Olde Fashioned with all the trimmings. While I don't normally like shredded lettuce this seemed to be crisp. The added tomatoes were perfectly ripe as well. The fries are some of the best and are perfectly seasoned. While the price was a little higher than I like to pay it was more than I can eat. I would HIGHLY recommend ordering the fresh lemonade (Don't think, just order it). The menu is simple (which I love), plenty of options to choose from - including vegetarian. There's No kids menu so I ordered the Grilled Cheese for my toddler. She ate every bite! Including the fries. The indoor dining area and patio are spacious and clean. Not sure why this place has rave reviews. Pricing seems to be way off for the quality and the size of the burger. The tops and bottoms of both buns fell apart. The fries were bendy... like they were sitting there for a while. The actual burgers were WAAAAYYYY over cooked, perhaps because they were so small? Forgot the mustard on mine. Forgot the cheese on his. I asked for mustard and got one packet and an eye rolls. And $36 for two burgers and two drinks - really?? That doesn't make sense for the quality. Moving onto the service, while hiring teenagers is great, these kids wanted to be anywhere else other than work, and one gal had her bootie hanging out of her shorts. We had a hard time finding a place open Sunday night of Labor Day weekend so we totally dumb-lucked into finding PT's. So fortunate because we really loved it! We sat at the bar and had one glass of beer, ordering for food burgers and hot dogs. They offer an 8 ounce burger and a 4 ounce mini. I got the 8 and my husband got the 4 ounce plus the hot dog. The French fries are the best things there -- even better than Five Guys -- but the hamburgers are good but not special. Flavorful with lots of toppings. Everything slid around a bit but the bread didn't break, a solid plus. Honestly, the only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I prefer a double patty and a more "natural" tasting patty. read more

PT's isn't just one of my favorite burger places in Wilmington, it's one of my favorite burger places I've ever been. This place is a little bit tucked away, the only way to get to it is on a right turn going north on Market St close to where it splits off into 17 N. I cannot get enough of this place, the burger is delicious but the fries are definitely some of the best fries I've had. I'm not sure what kind of seasoning they use but I find myself craving PTs at least once a week. The ingredients in the burger always taste really fresh, and they make it so easy to order and customize your meal to exactly how you want. All the staff are so considerate and make an effort to make your experience as great as possible. I can definitely see why this place is a local favorite. read more
