Our work began with PA Home Services just needing the framing to a wall we took down and some electrical work. I would give them a three overall because that work was completed but then when we hired them for another job that was never completed. The job was left incomplete and now we are looking for another contractor to complete the job. I did reach out to Bruce several times and he explained the person he hired will come back or they won't get paid. This company did not respect our time or timeline to complete work that we agreed on being completed. We will not use them again. Save your hard earned money. Please use caution. Update: 6/8/2020 I would like to write this with full transparency to avoid anyone from using this company to hopefully prevent what happened with us not to happen to anyone else. As of 5/25/2020 I have not heard from this company in regards to completing any work. This was before any protest as the company suggest. There d rating with the bbb and unresolved complaints should tell you all you need to know about this guy. I did NOT give them the job from sheer lack of professionalism. The guy that came out seemed decent. but as soon as I talked to the owner; he just sounded like snake oil. I decided to do my research. Bad reviews every platform. And it's not so much the bad reviews- you cant please everyone. It's how he responds to them. Look at how he responds to critisicm. He trashes all his customers. He called me up- yelled at me for wasting his time because I didn't accept his quote. (His operation seemed shady. )And then told me I "looked poor" or knew I was poor or something. And just genuinely shit talked me unnecessarily to me via text. After I had already turned down the job. So it was all pointless. Then he posted my private information on the internet putting my and my families life at risk if i didnt take the reviews down.. prays on woman stay far far away.. guess what Bruce moved, got married and changed my number.. try to posting your dating ad on me now... public needs to know who this "business" is....stay very very far away from this company read more

i would not recommend this company pa home services to anyone, they will have you sign a contract to get your money and never show up or call you. they contracted with me on 6/9/2020 to repair my deck. i gave them a deposit of $1000 down for a job that was to cost $3450 in total and per the contract my job was to start on 6/30/2020, 21 days after my signed contract. on 6/30/2020 at approximately 7:30 am i had not heard anything from bruce the owner as to what time they would arrive to my home to start my deck work, so i called bruce only to find out that my job had been canceled for 6/30/2020 and when i asked bruce when he would be able to start, he informed me that he did not know when he would be starting because he had other jobs to finish and that he would call me later to give me a day he would be able to start. when i informed him that per our signed contract and my $1000 deposit the jobs was supposed to start today (6/30/2020) and that i had taken a day off from work waiting for him to start. he stated to me that he did not want to argue with me and that he would call me later and hung up on me. i waited a few minutes and called him back and asked him to return my deposit, he became irate and belligerent, started yelling at the top of his lungs and even stooped as low as to call me an animal. (i am a black female, bruce is a white male), and hung up on me again. i then sent him emails asking for my deposit of $1000. he texted me back telling me that he will send my deposit back via pay pal on 6/30/2020 and that there was no need to call him again at this point we were done doing business. a few minutes later i received a refund via pay pal for only $500. i then texted him back asking for my total deposit of $1000 and received a text back from bruce stating the $500 he kept was for materials and a service charge because i broke the contract. first off, i was never ever informed of a service charge by his representative robert when he came to my home to give me the estimate nor when robert came to collect my deposit of $1000 and have me sign the contract, which stated he would start my job 21 days from the day i signed the contract, nor did i cancel the contract. bruce himself breached the contract by not starting on 6/30/2020 and could not give me a date of when he would be able to start. i asked him to please return my full deposit of $1000. i had my boyfriend call him to try and resolve the issue and he stated to my boyfriend that he was booked and had a ton of work. my boyfriend asked him, "then why won't you give her money back", bruce told him it would be over his dead body before he gave me my money back. bruce is accusing me of cancelling the contract in which i did not. he breached the contract by not starting on the date the contract stated which was 6/30/2020 and i lost a day of work on 6/30/2020 waiting for bruce. had i not called bruce the morning of 6/30/2020 i would not have known he wasn't coming to start my work. bruce was very unprofessional and mean. i believe bruce never intended to do any work for me, that it was just to scam me for money. beware of this company. i do not want this to happen to anyone else. i feel bruce stole my money. i did not want to choose any stars. i only chose one star so that i could post my review. read more
