RIPPED OFF AND NEVER GOING BACK!!!! We went to have a nice meal and watch a game at the bar. We had chips and a green tomatillo salsa. The salsa was not your traditional and was not good. Better to pay for a salsa than eating sour green salsa. A tall ultra was $8.49. Enchiladas were great, Patron margarita was sour and terrible. Why was it terrible, the bartender forgot to add the tequila to the drink. We let him know there was no tequila in the margarita. He came back after a few minutes and provided a shot of Patron. We guessed he figured out he forgot the shot of tequila. Well we received the bill and HE CHARGED US!!!! RIP OFF!!!!!!! Management needs to roll back the tape and see the bartender not adding the tequila. You wouldn't miss the BIG BOTTLE OF PATRON!!!!! Well browsing the area of our Hotel we knew this place was going to be close by but didn't realize in same parking lot!!! Its a perfect little spot open late for an out of towner! After a long drive a drink was on the menu! We were welcomed in and we grabbed seating at the bar. Service was cool and big screen tvs were showing UFC. We didn't get to enjoy any food unfortunately but I'm sure we'll be back. We ordered a Margarita flight. They were good but needed a little more shake to be chilled!! This place has good ambience the grupo was setting up. It definitely is a great spot for drinks and hanging out with friends. We went on a Friday night a group of us and our waitress was very patient and nice to us. We were there for quite some time. As for the food it's okay. The torta ahogada was good. Our measly group of five sauntered into Pablo's last Wednesday night after nearly eating in a nearby Mexican restaurant that is conjoined with a grocery store. Although it was 8:00pm, our group was still nursing headaches from our alcohol infused arrival to the valley. Needless to say, team morale was low and our combined dopamine couldn't conjure a single smile. The friendly waitress suggested that we test out their flavored margaritas that had the ominous colors of a glow stick grab bag; we relented. What arrived could only be described as a fish tank of neon slushy laughter. The mood quickly turned from somber to ecstatic. Following multiple rounds of luminous cocktailS, the DJ (who had recently signed to Sony Records) brought over a microphone for karaoke. Although our group of 5 sounded like lifelong smokers singing through tracheostomy holes, the DJ let us belt out the greatest hits of 2016. Hours later, we spilled out of Pablo's into the brisk air of 98 degree Indo and took a largely forgetten uber ride back to our airbnb to meet friends arriving from the airport. Found this restaurant in the afternoon before checking in our condo during our vacation. The restaurant was clean and inviting and the staff was pleasant and very nice, recommending one of the daily happy hour specials or the daily special. My wife and I each had burrito special (chicken and carnitas) and a side of fresh guacamole and chips. The portions were very huge and had to take half the burritos home. Food was very fresh, flavorful and hit the spot after an 8 hour drive. read more

We had what would have otherwise been a quiet Thursday night become one of the best parts of our long weekend trip. The food was fantastic and the menu had so much to choose from, but the massive margaritas were truly to die for. Driving back from spring training we stopped in Indio to to grab lunch. Cool little Mexican joint in a random area. Fresh guacamole was excellent. Had the Tortas Ahogados and the Quesabirrias tacos. Walked in no one there took a while to be seated, upon being seated noticed it was very warm. We received menus and we ordered something to drink. The longer we sat the warmer it became within the business. We asked if the air conditioner was on and was told it wasn't working. It was approximately 105 degrees outside. Portions are generous, so we left with a food coma ... haha. I should add that the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Bummed we didn't try this place sooner. Service was great and the food was delicious. The inside is clean and has a great vibe. We tried two different Torta's, the papa relleno and loaded fries and they all were absolutely delicious (the tortillas are made in house and the rice is so good - we got both to go!). The new name for Los Pablo's is Pablo's Tacos and Beer. The place is totally revitalized with new decor, a new menu and great food. Don't expect standard mexican fare because the food here is a mix of traditional mexican and mexican fusion. Every dish has a twist to it and I mean in a good way! The menu offers MUCH more than tacos so indulge a little! They recently added desserts to their offerings but they aren't on the menu just yet. Ask for them. Cheese flan with a rich caramel sauce and churros with chocolate for dipping along side ice cream. Great ways to finish off a meal. Prices are reasonable and there are a number of beers on tap. I just wish there was a restaurant where I live that served this dish. The price was $13. This is the way I figure. You can have a taco, rice and beans for about the same price at most restaurants. But I'd rather bypass the rice and beans and get 3 main courses. Now, my wife had a side order of rice and said it was excellent. But I'll take a taco over rice, no matter how good. I wished I lived in the area. I'd eat here at least once a week. And if the food is approved by Guy Fieri, it's good enough for me. read more
