Looking for the right opportunity and in stepping it up in your career... come here! I was for the…read morelongest time delaying that I needed to check it out and register - I've been living in LA for about 4 years. Sending resumes online can only get you so far. Yes, you still should have LinkedIn. Though, You need a set of fresh eyes in telling you how what's going on, with your resume, interview skills, etc... to upgrade yourself career wise and level up to the demanding skills of today. I know this because I was brought here through a network. Now going at it on your own in LA can be a challenge and I'll say it, ROUGH! Long story short, I learned about Appleone through a friend I decided to finally give her a call and I got in touch with Ha (yes that's her name) And yes and she was delightful professional attentive. It's a pain but your skills need to be assessed for true legit employment. If you ever found yourself not getting evaluated or just being asked a couple of questions. Be Aware. Or it sounds to easy to do or believe it - (Be careful out there) ALL OR MOST JOBS applications are not supposed to charge you. Anyways, sidetracked! Coming back to my story - you got to do all the tests, you got to do all the work by completing watching all the videos. And signing a gazillion papers. That's just how the agency protects themselves of making sure you are who you are supposed to be! You'll know honestly, if you want something legit is going to take discipline to get you through and in order to get the agency to speak on your behalf as a great employable candidate.

Apparently those people have schedule of can't be contacted directly. It's always been I leave my information and will contact when one these mysterious service providers are there. There's two people on staff and on is desk person who checks you and another who sets up the appointments. They tell me they will contact me when someone is available so we can schedule a meeting and weeks go by and I go down there again (It's close by) and go through the same all over again! I 'm not sure what exactly is going on on down there: It's all promises- no delivery.

For some reason, I've always had trouble getting a job on my own. I'm presentable, professional,…read moreintelligent, and a fast learner (though not as cocky as I sound here), but I never get called back. Sometimes I don't even make it to the interview. Some of my friends recommended trying a temp agency, just until I could land a "real job". I submitted my resume to all the agencies in the area; Adecco was the only one who wanted to set up an interview. The Adecco rep (Laekwon, who has since left the company) interviewed me, tested me on basic administrative skills (typing speed, Word/Excel/Outlook knowledge, etc) and promised to get back to me later with an update. Well, THAT sounded familiar...back to the drawing board, right? Much to my surprise, she called me back that same day with an assignment...which ended up turning into a full-time, permanent position. ---------------------- A year later: I ended up leaving that company (merger resulted in new management, who ended up sucking ass) and going back to Adecco. My main contacts are Anita, Iyda, and Tiffani, and these girls have saved my ass more than a few times. After being unceremoniously dropped from a recent assignment (the client wasn't doing well financially and just started cutting Adecco employees, keeping only their "own" people on the schedule), Tiffani scored me an assignment at a well-known, very reputable company, and even managed to negotiate a 150% rate increase over my average. Long story short: if you're unhappy with your current job, or unemployed, give Adecco a try. As long as you don't suck at what you do, they'll be able to find you a good gig.

Went to an orientation and I was sent back home because I did not have the right clothes and shoes. The agency never informed me of what I needed to wear. They just gave me an address, time and date. Once arriving at the location, I was informed it was the wrong location. They are a freaken JOKE!! I wish Charlotte and James were still there. Nobody like them! They were always on top of things and always made sure YOU were ok and had everything you needed.

Waited on a specific position I applied for and was told they'd get back to me. Never heard back from Candice Gamboa. I had to reach out to her to get an update. I didn't care if it was a no-go as long as I was informed. She said she was working on it. The position became opened somehow and my resume was submitted to her client, I was immediately interviewed, hired the same day by the company, and started the job the following Monday. The experience was horrible. The company they sent me to was very unprofessional and toxic. The person who was training me was talking crap about other coworkers to me, and talking about drugs and inappropriate things. I knew I wasn't going to last there as I was looking for something long-term away from toxic environment like that. I resigned from the job and contacted Candice. She never replied. At first she was responding quickly to my messages when the job started, after I inquired about my paycheck--she ghosted me. She never responded until I reached out to someone else in the office and she made up some excuse or lie about not replying. The other person I spoke to in their office said she was there all week. Go figure. I made a complaint about her..hopefully in the future there wouldn't be any waste of time such as this. Try somewhere else that actually responds.

I called a month ago and asked for a job, they said they have 2 that require drug screening AND fork lift I said over the phone "i dont have forklift and i smoke marijuana unfortunately i wont pass a drug test" The women ONE MONTH AGO said "aw shucks well send me your resume anyways and we will call if we get anything" I called yesterday to see an update. I was told "yea we have 2 available for you!!!! Come by now" Me being busy i asked "okay before i take time out of my day to make my way over there what specific job is it for?" This IDIOT SAID "i cant let you know what job it is over the phone you just have to come down here" A little bothered and annoyed that im getting "manipulated" into showing up in person i tell her i will make it following day Well today i showed up ONLY TO BE TOLD "im so sorry you need to drug test and or have a forklift certification" What a fucking JOKE!!!!!!! So sad they force you to go in person to make there jobs feel important. Literally EVERYTHING CAN BE HANDLED OVER THE PHONE. SHE ALREADY HAD MY RESUME. ALL SHE HAD TO DO WAS TELL ME THE JOBS OVER THE PHONE AND VERIFY THE REQUIREMENTS TO SAVE EVERY TIME This place is a FUCKING JOKE!!!! They dont value ANYONES TIME. And since i first called over a month ago they HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY NEW JOBS ITS FORKLIFT CERTIFIED AEROSPACE (drug test) Both for 17$ an hour What a joke. They even ask you "whats your desire pay" when really they only have two fucking options. Sad sad sad sad. I hope whoever thinks about going to this place to find a job just SAVE YOUR TIME AND TELL THEM TO TELL YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ON THE PHONE If not youll lose 2 hours of your life YOU WILL NEVER GET BACK.
